"My Mum and I stayed at the Green Park Hotel for our big birthdays (30 and 60) as this hotel has been on my Mums bucket list for years. This hotel obviously caters towards the older generation but that is not a bad thing! Many small details that have slowly been lost from other hotels over time still remain here; things like being shown to our room, having a sherry before dinner, offering coffee/tea and cake in the lounge and having board games/jigsaws that were in fantastic quality. This is a hotel that really has thought of everything. It was a relaxing stay and we thoroughly enjoyed the slow paced atmosphere. The service was outstanding, every member of staff was incrediblely kind and patient to all the guests. Staying here was like staying in a home away from home, we will certainly be back."

Food was exceptional, staff were friendly and professional, room and all public areas were spotless. Aimed at the more elderly clients but still would like to return one day. Grounds were beautiful and well maintained. Beautiful setting. Ver carta

Dropped in for a coffee whilst out for a walk with my friends the service we received was 1st class! It makes SUCH a difference. We sat outside enjoying the sunshine view. The hotel facilities were immaculate too. Will definitely return, probably for a weekend stay next time.

Wonderful hotel with terrific staff where the ethos is all about old fashioned values and caring for guests. Very good value, well placed for everything in Pitlochry but in a quiet location with beautiful views. I can’t wait to go back someday soon. Don’t stay here if you want somewhere flashy.

If you want exceptional service and superb food this is the place to stay. The hotel leans towards an older clientele and has a calming sedate atmosphere. The rooms are well appointed and comfortable. The gardens are well attended and reach down to the loch, with paths for a leisurely walk any time of the day. Ver carta

Beautifully laid out but.. that's all ! Extremely expensive, old aged accommodation. Popular amongst elderly couples who like traditional dark rooms with squicky bed, Victorian dresser and tasted by mice shaped chairs. Meals? Mid-class and rather cold. Starter portions even for main dish. Nice cups but cutlery doesn't match the character of the place. Aaa, by the way: CLOSED in the most sought time -Christmas Festive period. You could go for a week holiday into sunny and tasty Spain rather then spending nights half board in the lowest season in this place.

Just home from a night stay, along with a friend who has visited for many years with her late husband. It was delightful! The hotel and surroundings are gorgeous even in the wet weather. Bedrooms and public areas are very clean and comfortable. You feel like you're in a country house, rather than a hotel. Food was excellent, very well cooked and nothing too much bother. We'd just celebrated our wedding anniversary and there was a complimentary bottle of champagne waiting for us in our bedroom. Such a lovely touch. What can I say about the hardworking staff? Every single one we met couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. No, it's not cheap, but it's worth every penny. Our first visit,...

"We visited to see the Beatrix Potter Exhibition with family who were visiting and spent a lovely hour going around the exhibition, however our nice time was rudely interrupted by the elderly lady working in the cafe with dyed black curly hair. We have one child with serious allergies, so instead of one child feeling left out and risking cross exposure, we packed safe snacks for all the kids going anywhere with allergies is an absolute nightmare, so we always do this. Most places are trained and appreciative of how hard it is to eat out with allergens and happy to make reasonable adjustments for this. All four adults ate from the cafe. When part of our order was delivered, we were told “this isn’t a picnic area, you can’t eat your own food, you wouldn’t take food in to McDonald’s” (whilst looking at the 2 year old eating her snacks) when I responded yes I actually would, we have a child with allergies, she asked if it was serious allergies to which I said yes and she scoffed and left, no apology, nothing. I must add that whether the children would be eating or not, they would still have to sit at the table and take up the same amount of space. Would the children also be prevented from sitting because they didn’t buy from the cafe? Still waiting on my food order twenty minutes later and having already finished my coffee and frustrated at the wait, I asked for a refund as we now felt hurried to leave because of how upset she was at the children eating snacks at the table without purchasing them in their cafe. I got the refund for my missing meal and we left without going to the shop or seeing the other art, it has left a bad taste in my mouth. We spent just shy of £100 in the place and to be spoken to like that was horrible. The elderly employee with dyed black hair really needs some training on customer service and manners. The way she looked at us as we left was awful, we will not be returning. This place is not welcoming of children or those with allergies I dread to think how they would react to someone who is tube fed, probably told to eat outside just avoid."
