Dog House Kitchen - Carta

The Dog House Kitchen is now our ‘go to’ restaurant. Fabulous food in charming surroundings, with the most wonderful hosts.

Enjoyed a private dining experience with a large group of neighbors and friends at the Dog House kitchen pop up restaurant.

We visited on Friday night for the third time with friends who had missed out on a previous occasion. They had both recently had a birthday so we thought it would be nice to combine their first trip with birthday celebrations. Ver carta

The mushroom dish was absolutely delicious, a perfect 10/10. The tart was beautifully presented, with a perfect shortcrust pastry and a light and tasty filling. The brownie was rich and decadent, especially when paired with the hazelnuts, caramel sauce, and fresh berries. Overall, a delightful dessert option.

Liz and Chris hosted a super 50th birthday celebration , the food was excellent accommodating all our guests food requirements. All in all a great night to remember , we were particularly partial to the Cherry Bakewell cocktails, and special mention for the Braised Ox Cheek dish ! Thanks so much we will be back .

We have just visited The Dog House Kitchen for the second time and will definitely be returning again!Absolutely delicious starters and a main course of Chicken with bacon poached in cider was beautiful, lots of flavour and presentation as always was lovely. We visited here for my partner and brother in laws birthday. It didn't disappoint! Beautiful home cooked food in a very homely setting. Liz, Chris and Elaine made us feel very welcome from when we first stepped through the doors. We were made to feel even more special as liz had made my partner and brother in law beautiful cup cakes for their birthdays! Also the biscuits we got to take away were delishious! A very unique, wonderful dining experience that we we would recommend.

We enjoyed yet another super meal here in November, warmly welcomed even after arriving late due to accident stopping traffic, called ahead and they held our food back so as not to spoil. Served by Elaine who was both friendly and efficient, Liz and Chris both make a great effort to make you feel so welcome all are happy to discuss the dishes with you. The cauliflower salad with pomegranate was delicious, and whats to say about the poached pear and thyme ice cream ! One of the most fresh tasting desserts I have had in long time. We will definitely be going again.

I have just been to the Dog House Kitchen for the first time and I cannot rave about it enough. The hospitality is second to none with every detail thought of and a constant top up of wine! Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. I am gluten free and loved that for once my food was the same quality as everyone else’s. The food was beautifully cooked, generous portions, with wonderful flavours put together. The setting is really pretty, and the hosts have managed to create a warm and homely atmosphere. The place is perfect for a special occasion or private function. I will definitely be going back. What a wonderful find! Ver carta
