Great food and a lovely atmosphere. Staff are friendly and it’s kid friendly. Never hate a bathbread here

Absolutely delicious authentic Italian food, large portion sizes and really friendly and welcoming staff. Such a shame we don’t live locally or we would be there all the time!

Just fantastic! Every time we come here we think we should come more often. The food is always brilliant. service fantastic. It is getting busier due to the quality of food and service. Excellent value for money. Each time we try a different dish from the menu, and always soooooo good!

Always a fantastic meal at Dolce, but had the specials this time and they were spectacular. You know a restaurant is doing well when it is packed on a Thursday early evening! A real mix of customers from families to couples looked like everyone was enjoying great food with plates cleared. This is a fantastic restaurant! Great food at good value.

Family meal for 8 adults on Sunday which was relaxed and enjoyable. The waitresses were friendly, helpful and efficient; meanwhile the boss slaved away in the kitchen to produce delicious Italian and Sicilian food. The service could not be faulted and the bill for 8 was surprisingly less than expected. I would love to revisit soon.Lovely location looking onto village green.

My family and I went out for a Christmas meal together this evening and we were very impressed by the quality of the starters and the mains but sadly having previously really enjoyed the dessert on previous visits we found both the banoffee pie and the tiramisu very disappointing. They were advertised as homemade but I struggle to believe there were anything but a poor shop bought version. I was left very disappointed as banoffee pie is normally my favourite dessert.

This is what you call a restaurant. This what you call good food. This is what you call good service. This is what you call proper Italian restaurant. So friendly I started writing this review before finishing my first course. It’s like I’m in italy only difference is the most friendly and excellent service. The mains was wooooow. From a restaurant owner I think this is one of the best that I’ve had in along time. What makes this a special restaurant, it’s because the owners are involved. Keep it up guys. 5* all round Will be back

Had another gorgeous meal at Dolce! Starters and mains were cleared accompanied by a really lovely Pinot Grigio. The baked peppers stuffed with Cotto ham, Mozzarella, Goats cheese, Black Olives was a new choice and a superb one! The meatballs in a creamy tomato sauce with some lovely bread to mop up that great sauce. Seafood risotto and veal in white wine and mushroom sauce were the mains, extremely tasty, well cooked, generous portions fantastic! Freshly cooked, as we requested no octopus in the risotto and that is exactly how it arrived. Always a joy to eat at Dolce, but this time everything just came together to make it perfect

Wonderful meal on a Saturday evening when we were staying in the area for the first time. A very welcoming atmosphere when we arrived: lots of family groups with children, all clearly enjoying their food. Service was very friendly and efficient. We shared an antipasto platter for a starter all good, and my only regret was that I hadn't ordered a plate of the arancini all to myself. For mains, we had various pasta and pizzas all very good (especially the spaghetti carbonara), and a cut above anything similar that we've had for a long time. For sweets, the tiramisu and affogato tia maria were delicious. Lovely meal, and lovely too to see an independent restaurant so busy and popular.
