"already at the entrance to this hotel we felt comfortable. the cheerful young woman at the reception accepted all our attachment nice, enabled a late check-out, pulled us a route suggestion in the city plan and also had a rainshade for us. more beautiful place there and a cozy pad group for the stay on the day. well, a little old baked was the furniture, but this was compensated by modern technology: the larger flat-screen electric, the more in the also spacious and fully equipped washroom showed wc and bidet the formal speeches of the classic modern. after a long night the sturdy hand grips on the bathroom were of advantage and our brain functions were restarted from the left thread of the shower height adjustment. everything was very well maintained and radiantly clean. at the rich breakfast buffet we experienced the special attention and the ease of the staff. the double room, which is booked in the regular price, storage costs incl. breakfast 93 €, plus 7 € for the garage space (price stand april 2013.) in view of the offer for us, this seems to us also favorable for the conditions of a smaller city. we can recommend this hotel in full scope. the hotel is a “Mediterranean restaurant” that we did not visit and therefore did not relate to this review. who wants to travel with the car should borrow some delicious small beetles. for modern limousines the conditions on the old double park system are very close."

There was a special offer 11:30-2:30 of soup, buffet of tapas, main course and dessert when I was in Marburg. Good service, too.

the marburger hof is centrally located, close to the train station and offers a pleasantly clean room also an excellent service. Eat is good. the prices are quite ok for this situation, especially in peak times (e.g. during the city festival.)

Service performance does not live up to this hotel restaurant's decor aesthetics. Dishes that could have been excellent did not quite come off as well, leaving the customer with the feeling that there was some pretense in the public representations made by the management.

I wanted to like this restaurant because it is so convenient to Marburger Hof Hotel where I was staying. I ordered Garlic Chicken expecting a chicken breast, but was served overcooked, chopped up pieces of chicken still on the bone. The vegetables were also overcooked and tasteless.

the hotel marburger hof has experienced better times from outside. when I knew that those who visited me in marburg had once booked a room, I almost had a bad conscience. that they don't have to have at all, because the rooms are super clean very nice cut and offer a lot of comfort. my well-known has also reported that eating was great and the personal has literally read them every desire of lips. they are also in less than one minute with the luggage at the train station and have the bus right in front of the door.

It was handy on a rainy evening to eat at Domingos, as we were staying at the Marburgerhof, but it's not our favorite place. The food is average, the prices a little high. We ate some excellent pumpkin soup, but my chicken in garlic sauce was not good, as it was mostly bones, skin and fat. In true Spanish fashion, it's pretty empty until after eight, so we ate in solitary splendor. Having stayed at the Marburgerhof many times, I wish there were a good German restaurant here, instead of southern European. If the weather's good, I'd trot up to the Oberstadt for dinner, and advise others to do the same.

We were staying at the Marburger Hof, and got back late one evening. Didn't feel like a full dinner, but wanted something light. We decided to try Domingo's, the Spanish restaurant with an entrance on the west side of the hotel lobby. A menu on a stand outside the door helped us find what we wanted. Since it was so late (after 9pm, as I recall), we were almost the only folks there. The decor of the restaurant was quite nice, and the staff was friendly. We ordered just the mixed salad, and tea, and finished with ice cream & fruit all around. The dishes were good--not large, but certainly sufficient. Overall, for a party of four, our bill came to about 40 Euros. Not cheap for salad and dessert...

That restaurant lies on the other side of the road where St. Elizabeth Church is located and just a few meters from it. It’s not therefore far from the tourist center of Marburg. It’s a good restaurant where some Spanish specialities can be savoured. The dishes not falling within that scope are also well cooked with excellent ingredients. I ordered a rumpsteak and it was rather tasty. The restaurant decoration is very nice. It consists mainly of Spanish motifs. The atmosphere is rather attractive albeit sometimes there are some tourist groups which make it a bit noisy. The music volume is not disturbing. The waiters are in general very kind, professional and helpful. The manager is also kind wi...
