"We visited Don Leone on a midweek evening with a large group of colleagues. Despite the rainy weather forcing us inside, the restaurant wasn't too crowded that night. The decor is straightforward and unpretentious, allowing the food to be the star. And on that front, Don Leone largely delivered. We overindulged on a variety of dishes, all presented well and of generally good quality. The only misstep were some overcooked steaks, so be sure to specify your desired doneness. What truly shone, however, was the impeccable service. Our large party was tended to attentively from start to finish. Coupled with a reasonable 50 CHF per person cost including plenty of wine, it made for a very satisfying group dining experience overall. While Don Leone may not wow with fancy decor, it seems to prioritize executing reliable Italian staples backed by hospitality that caters equally well to both large parties and intimate dates. A solid option when craving well-prepared classics in a comfortable, unfussy setting."

The food is really good, pizza and Pasta especially are delicious. Pizza comes really fast but for the rest of the dishes you wait a bit more (20-25-30min) depending on how crowded the place is. Ver carta

the don leone on the Waffenplatzstrasse is recommended definitiw. I live near and order here often pizzas to take away and eat occasionally in the restaurant. eating is always excellent and the personal and the ambiente are very pleasant. I can recommend.

Very nice and cosy place Food is nice Service crew is very friendly as well Like this place especially meet nice people here! I order a pizza with dried beef truffle, I live it! Really nice!!! I tried the local beer, Hugo and an Italian Gin tonic, it is very nice as well!
