"Fantastic burgers, friendly, helpful staff. Fully licensed bar serving local beer. Booking is recommended as a small restaurant. On street and carpark parking available a short walk from restaurant. Unfortunately, the washroom isn't wheel chair friendly. Dogs welcome. All in a fantastic wee delicious restaurant . Bass Rock burger was amazing"

"Away in North Berwick for a week and visited several times because the food and service is that good. Between us we have sampled most of the Tapas menu and the dishes are all absolutely delicious. Pizzas are all freshly made and again delicious. My...daughters each had a steak and while they were a little thinner than expected, both were perfectly cooked. Next, the service. This is absolutely exceptional. The staff are all so welcoming and professional and this establishment should be proud of them all. Not only is this place a lovely place to eat but it is also a lovely place to relax over a glass of wine or two. Pleasant and comfortable surroundings in the front of the place and a lovely additional dining area at the back . All of which is tastefully decorated. All in all an absolutely delightful experience for the money. If we are ever back in North Berwick we will definitely visit again."

"We googled the best Sunday roast in North Berwick and we found it at The Puffin! The roast beef with all the trimmings was delicious The beef was tender , the vegetables cooked to perfection and the gravy had the right amount of seasoning very often , from experience, chefs over season with salt and ruin it) The atmosphere was nice with other diners bringing their very well behaved pooches to sit quietly under the tables. I saw a staff member bring a dog a bowl of water , very sweet. It’s a family run affair, with super friendly staff . Recommend highly ."

"This should be a really nice restaurant but avoid the xmas period. There is no working website and no obvious menu. When we booked for new year we were not told it was a 'fixed menu '. The fixed menu was bizarre and eye wateringly expensive. We and others left because of this and the restaurant was essentially empty. No pizza, no pasta and no childrens menu. The squid starter is normally £9 but for new year it was £13.50. Main courses were £30-40 compared to the more normal £10-15 on a typical night. Kid-friendliness: No childrens menu for new year. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner Price per person: £50–60 Food: 1 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 1"

"I went in at 15:34 hrs asked for a cup of tea only to be told by a young female member of staff that they stopped serving at 15:30. I understand that they close at 16:00hrs but it doesn’t take long to pour some hot water on a tea bag so I cannot comment on the quality of the cake, that I would have purchased, as I was not allowed to spend any money? It looks nice but make sure you go in well before 15:30hrs. Service: 1"
