What to say. small restaurant or you have to make a detour to cross it. but at the same time, a restaurant that honours French gastronomy. at the time when one thinks that it takes names to extend on the map, or the molecular is synonymous with the top, here one re-discovers what real French cuisine is. the beautiful product, valued, perfectly cooked faithful to what it is and what it must be. pure happiness to discover. and cherry on the cake the price of the menu and wines and more than reasonable has recommended 1000 times! Thank you to the chief... stay as you are!

We went there for a midweek lunch as part of a large group. As is customary we were fashionably late having got lost! (Tip. Don't go to Toulouse le Chateau go to FANGY, a nearby hamlet) But as we were booked there was no problem. Two choices of starter and two of main course and four for dessert. 15 Euros and really good food, superbly cooked and presented with a friendly and informative serveuse. There was Pumpkin soup or Poached egg salad as starter, both full of flavour to be followed by Blanquette de veau or roasted Cod. Difficult to fault either. The puddings were great as well.Excellent value for lunch and looks as though it would be a fine place for an evening meal as well.

A great place for an outstanding lunch on the way back to England from a week skiing in the alps. I booked a reservation for 9 for 1pm on a Saturday about 2 weeks ahead, and received a very quick email confirmation of my booking.We were in 3 cars, 2 of which arrived about 45 minutes late... a hint - look for Fangy, as this is where the restaurant is located. It was no problem being late, our host was very understanding.As I was the only one who could speak a bit of french (and my french skills are basic!), the hostess was again very patient.
