We went to Duckworth Hall for a meal due to the reviews on here. We weren't disappointed! Really good food, decent quality too. Friendly waitresses made it a pleasant experience. Will definitely be back.

Me partner dined here on a Saturday eve .Service was very good and the food was the same. However my only minor gripe (to me) is that the upholstered seat next to where i was sat had not been brushed or vacuumed for...quite sometime.Also the ledges where thick with dust.

in three places that led to Christmas, we were not disappointed at each visit. sandwiches zu mittag were served with salat and chips and a really good choice. the evening Christmas dinner was again a good choice and we had no problems with it. the food served, all too cheap to praise.

This restaurant is definitely one of the best for pub food. The cellar is well maintained and the beer is served at the perfect temperature. The staff greets you with welcoming smiles. The food is expertly cooked by chefs who genuinely care. I have been a patron for years, which speaks for itself.

I recently had Sunday lunch at this restaurant. The food was fantastic, but the service was awful. We were left waiting to place our order, and it seemed like we weren't the only ones. We decided not to order dessert in the end because we were ignored for a long time. I would not go back and will not recommend it to others.

there was only one Christmas dinner here in the duckworth hall, and omg was the deliscious cursor we've ever had. we give to the cooker who cooked it, and the full compliments to the girls that served it. very recommended...this place will not hurt them. great thank you and a cheerful christmas happy new year for all in the duckworth hall.

A group of us visited this restaurant on a Tuesday in April. The staff were incredibly attentive and the food was exceptional. Even though I am usually quite picky, I found all the dishes to be delicious. We ordered steaks that were cooked perfectly, as well as chop meat, sampi, gammon, braised liver, lasagne, and a child's meal. We also tried a few desserts, which were quickly devoured. Overall, we were very impressed. We are already planning to return in May and make a reservation.

Absolutely fabulous meal with our family comprising, myself, hubby, daughter Alex and her husband Jason, and their two sons age and After being on the Santa Special in Bury, we went for our tea at this lovely traditional pub. The staff are very...welcoming, and the place is warm, bright and cozy. Three of us had the cauliflower fritters to start, (smashing and light), which came with curry mayo dip. The year old started with lamb koftas, which he said were fabulous, and Alex had prawn cocktail and Jason the koftas. Mains comprised of a burger with chips; cheese and onion pie; salmon with crushed buttery potatoes; sausage and chips for the year old; beef and onion baguette with sweet potato f...
