"Not for the first time (but definitely the last), order was completely wrong. Accidents happen, but then they made two massive customer service sins... 1. Claimed that the customer had got it wrong: they pointed at the ticket that a member of staff (who had since left for the day since taking my order) had filled out and handed to the kitchen. It was wrong but I was the one who was accused of ordering the wrong thing. 2. Did not take any responsibility and threw the staff member under the bus: “It’s not our fault, it was the guy who had left. So don’t complain to us”. Erm...it is your business!! I am the customer! I don’t care who it is, please just apologise and fix the order. They then proceeded to argue for 5 minutes without accepting any responsibility or apologising, and then wondered why I was miffed. I gave up, asked for a refund, and confirmed that this would be the last time I come there (Sad, as I WAS a Weekly customer). This is the last straw. I’ve always being willing to be fine with their errors but the arrogant and argumentative approach to this issue is too much. They don’t deserve the custom."

I could have been playing OG Fortnite, but instead I chose to visit Duffield Balti for their outstanding customer service and delicious food. I would definitely recommend this restaurant.

Ordered £29 worth of food my donor kebab should of been on pitta as on website came in a cold nann with anaemic looking un cooked meat pizza freezing cold and so we re the chips contacting them to send a replacement still nothing rang and hadnt left requested money to be posted back as per pictures having toast and marmalade for my tea not good waste of money

RAW CHICKEN!!!! Hadn't used them for a while despite being only a few hundred yards from our house and now I know why. Called at 5.40pm for a 7pm collection but upon arrival they had not even started the order. They rushed it through in 15 minutes and then when home and tucking into our food we discovered raw chicken (see pic) I will not be visiting again!!!. Ver carta

Firstly the experience was a car crash before the food was even served. The service was appalling with the member of staff taking the wrong order then trying to shift the blame. The wait time was over 30 minutes after ordering in store and when the food was ready it was cold and the quality was that shambolic I wouldn’t even feed it to my dog! The quality has gone down hill since the new ownership and I will definitely not be returning!

Despite the negative reviews, I decided to give this restaurant a try and was pleasantly surprised! The paneer starter was delicious, and my main course of vegetable biryani and naan were also very good. Adding a few more chickpeas to the biryani and more aromatics in the curry sauce would make it even better, but overall it was tasty and better than other takeaways I've had. The delivery service was polite as well. We will definitely be returning, thank you!
