"As we can’t currently eat in, we opted for a takeaway from the Dog this evening. Their food is just as fantastic as takeaway as it is when eating in. Definitely recommend if you want a break from cooking and something a bit different. We shared arancini as a starter, then a Greek style lamb burger and hot buffalo chicken wings. Safe collection and large portions. Looking forward to trying some of the small plates for our next takeaway."

Just had a takeaway. Both the Pentrich burger and Korean chicken were superb. Five stars for taste and service. We will be back.

Just picked our take away up, 20 minute drive to do so, fabulous as ever, could only be topped if we’d eaten inside with a cold beer, see you on the other side of Tier 3, can’t wait.

Just had a takeaway from The Dog tonight and that was well nice, smelled epic in the car and great service, sure the Pentrich Pounder was bigger than before!!! the Hot wings was nice as well. Thanks for the great service!!!

this place found about a dog friendly pub app and so glad that we. eating was amazing a great selection of taste. service was very attentive and friendly. the dog would be highly recommended if they live or visit in the opposite. derbyshire dales. Ver carta

Called in here during a local walk, can’t fault it. Sat by the lovely fire on comfortable leather seats, drinking a beer. A lovely welcome and brilliant service, the food was plentiful and delicious. Stayed for a wine which was also excellent, wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

We had the valentines dinner and thoroughly enjoyed it. All excellently packaged, with all info on cooking instructions etc. Portion size great and taste amazing. Would definitely recommend The Dog for food (we do eat there regularly normally anyway) so wasn’t surprised at the quality
