Second visit to Duncan's and was every bit as good as the first visit. Nice setting, good choice of food and excellent friendly staff.

Duncans is in a great location, the decor and layout is very agreeable, the staff and service are outstanding, and the menu is interesting. Good cooking. What's not to like?

Went to Duncans Bar and Bistro for a catch up with a friend and we both really enjoyed it. Both our meals were lovely, piping hot and good sized portions. Will definitely be back.

I recently had the best fish and chips in a long time at this restaurant. The dish was cooked perfectly and the portion size was just right. My husband enjoyed the Duncan burger, which also looked delicious.

We visited the restaurant on Friday night before a live band was set to take the stage. They had a themed Halloween menu available along with delicious cocktails. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, and the selection of gin was impressive. We will definitely be returning.

We had a wonderful meal at Duncans. The food was fantastic and reasonably priced, as was the wine. The restaurant was quite quiet, with only one other couple dining at the same time. They left shortly after finishing their meal. Overall, I would definitely recommend visiting. Just a tip, the restaurant closes at 9pm so it's best to book a table before 7pm to ensure a livelier atmosphere. We booked for 7.30pm, which may explain why it was so quiet.

I've been vegan for many a year, so I ordered the chickpea burger, very small side salad and chips, as I was told it was suitable for vegans, but obviously without mayo and coleslaw, however, the restaurant kitchen didn't have a vegan roll, so no roll either and no other offerings! The price charged was the same which I consider a travesty, especially in this day and age, when so many restaurants have a separate vegan menu, including puddings. Incidentally I was with a friend whom I hadn't seen for years or I would have had a quiet word to one of the staff...I also want to reiterate the serving staff were wonderful, professional and friendly., lovely folk..Trish x ps if Duncan's Bar Bistro h...
