"We stopped here on our way back to our holiday cottage and were blown away by the friendliness of the staff, value of the food and the size of the scones! We got in just before the shop was closing but the staff didn't batter an eyelid and happily served us. Between us we had both the cheese and fruit scones...what can I say. They were both the biggest and tastiest scones we have ever eaten. We even took some home and had them the next day and they were still delicious. This is an absolute must if you are in the area!"

"We stumbled on this little gem of a local business on a recent Motorcycle run at the start of the 2024 season. From the outside unpretentious, but on the inside a little jewel in Dunkeld. Very pleasant staff and equally pleasant homemade saviours and sweets. We were made to feel very welcome with a dash of proper understated hospitality, it seemed like many locals are within the staff rosta, which is always reassuring. The menu was great in both savoury and sweet options, a cracking little find. The shop stocks wines and spirits, but not your usual supermarket inventory, e.g Hearach Whiskey and in stock Chateau Musar 2017 wines amongst many others. If you are in Dunkeld or passing, it is more than worth a visit."

"I dined at Zs Bistro with two friends on 14/09/2021 and we all ordered different dishes. The food was amazing and I have since recommended this restaurant to my friends and family. However, when I went back yesterday to treat my elderly mother to lunch, we were both disappointed. My salmon had a disgusting citrus sugary sauce and the vegetables were raw. Despite being hungry, I found it hard to finish my meal. My mother's duck was tough and the lentils were overly salty. It was the worst meal I have had in years. When I mentioned the issue with the sauce to the waiter, he simply thanked me for telling him."

"great Scottish classic. grade: b every bit of research I had done on the taybank before our trip convinced me of the necessity to visit when we went to dark and I am very glad that we had the taybank character, looked well advertised both in the first floor bar area and in the upper floor space where we ate. because of the quality of eating and drinking, the consistent attraction of natives is understandable and is what has drawn me here. the menu offers a series of Scottish standards. her smoked salmon is great, as the “Stovies” one of which the taybank stovie is excellent with bark and a addictive horse sauce. among its real ales is head east bitter smooth and...read more"

"I have parked near this place numerous times over the years but always thought it was just a conference centre, but I couldn't have been more wrong as it had a lovely cafe where we bought delicious scones with what tasted and looked like home made jams and the coffee's were delicious too. We also visited the shop that was filled with Beatrix Potter Items and other interesting and quality things and then booked a visit to see Doug Allan the Wildlife Cameraman in July in the Theatre. Well satisfied"
