"It was a cold soggy late afternoon at the end of term. We had been asked to do something special with our grandson aged 5 years as all the family had had colds and short tempers. He chose Dylan’s. Ice cream in winter! A large black and white cow welcomed us to the magic of this shop. It was full of happy children’s voices, chairs were at a premium. We asked To join a table which just happened to be occupied by the family of a child in our grandsons class. It seem as though we had unexpectedly joined a party. Parent leaving the usual designed coffee for steaming hot chocolate with mountains of cream and marshmallows skiing down the mountains, Christmas pudding ice cream, earl gray tea that had its spout at the bottom of the pot. Then there were the games, colouring in with wax crayons, watching the wall Facebook like calculator responded to likes, unliked also changed the numbers. As we departed our grandson and the child from his class each invited the other to their homes. We went back into the soggy wet miserable evening. All that remains is knowledge that we never know when we will encounter moments of unexpected joy. Happy Christmas."

I have been in here a few times and so far only had the Milkshakes, they are very tasty and the ice cream selection is always changing. I'll be back to try the other items on the menu soon

First visit to Dylan’s Ice Cream shop in Haslemere. So many lovely flavours to choose from. I had two scoops of blackcurrant, excellent flavour, very fruit and tart. Looking forward to trying lemon meringue next.

Sweet service, friendly smiles, plenty of fun flavours my boys (and I! love it here. Birthday treats, good behaviour treats or just a weekend treat... any excuse will do. Ben and his team have created a cosy little cafe here well done!

The ice cream is delicious, I had gooseberry, bramble sorbet and lemon merengue all of which were richly flavoured. The cafe is a real community hub, the staff are very friendly and the place was bustling with children and families. Places this good are as rare has hen’s teeth.

We live nearby and pop in year round to Dylan’s, so we are seasoned enthusiasts of this locally created ice cream! I was prompted to write a review as we visited in the run up to Christmas after their promotions of Christmas flavours, and were delighted to find chocolate orange, and Christmas pudding, both of which we sampled and were excellent. I was a bit torn as the other festive flavours were equally tempting, we will have to visit again soon!
