Excellent value for money too as you get lots Lots of lovely brownies, there was a choice of 4 vegan today I was told that they also do a flapjack. Only downside is that because it is so small was super busy today we did have to wait for over 30 mins for a table but it was worth the wait"

Ordered a gluten free meal and ended up being gluten poisoned. I think their kitchens too small to make sure cross contamination doesn’t happen

This restaurant is not celiac-friendly. The food is great and they offer gluten-free options, but they use the same toaster and fryer for everything. It's disappointing because the food is delicious. Ver carta

Great menu with options for breakfast and lunch for vegans. As well as vegan brownies! Meat/veggie options too. They made the effort to go get me some vegan butter for my toast which they’d ran out of!

I really enjoy the food at this restaurant, but I discovered that when it gets busy, they use the same fryer for everything. It's important to inquire about the cooking situation before placing your order, as the restaurant is almost always crowded. Ver carta

Staff seem knowledgeable about allergens not a problem to ask for gf options. Gf alternatives available. Gf clearly highlighted on the menu, but would always recommend highlighting the allergy to the staff to avoid contamination risk. Never felt unwell after eating here

My partner has leaky gut syndrome and we LOVE The Early Bird. It’s a brunch spot, so a good combo of traditional breakfasts and funky sandwiches. They have so many GF and vegan options, being able to swap out most bread to GF and having the GF options clearly marked on the menu. GF sausages too! Super tasty, super trendy, and lovely staff.
