Eastern Eye - Carta

Another fabulous evening at Eastern Eye. The menu is vast and lots of new dishes for us to try. Old favourites there too. Definitely our favourite Indian restaurant in lichfield. Gorgeous tasty food.

Back to Litchfield after 6 years, and we went back to this familiar spot. It still has great food, great value, and friendly service. Thanks especially to Nahid and Ash for looking after us so well. An evening well spent.

This was a last minute decision to grab and Indian on New years eve. The food was absolutely delicious and the waiter service was excellent. Owner also came and spoke to us and gave my wife some cooking tips, a very pleasant man. Definitely return. Ver carta

We cannot fault our experience for the second time. The service and the food is outstanding. You are always made to feel welcomed. We highly recommend this place as the food is outstanding, however, you need to book as always gets very busy. Thank you to the staff and the owner for everything you do

The restaurant was so good that we ended up going two nights in a row. The atmosphere was perfect, the food was delicious, and the staff was attentive. Abdul, the manager, does a great job of keeping an eye on his staff, preparing meals, and chatting with customers. It was a great experience (again).

My wife and I, along with other family members, came to this restaurant to celebrate a birthday. It was a quiet mid-week night, but the atmosphere was still friendly and welcoming. We both enjoyed the Chicken Tikka Balti, which had the perfect amount of spices and heat, as well as a generous portion of chicken. Ver carta

We are delighted with the takeaways that we have received from The Eastern Eye in Lichfield. Not only is the food that Abdul has prepared delicious, but it is also authentic! The profesional staff make you feel valued and I am looking forward to bringing my international family to the restaurant when they visit us soon.

My wife and I along with my cousin and his wife from Norfolk went to The Eastern Eye for the first time. I was not disappointed. The atmosphere was very good and the owner spent a time chatting to us and made us feel at home. The menu was varied and very good. We all chose different meals and I had the Special Goat Curry, which was delicious. The staff were very good and were always ready to help. I would certainly recommend Eastern Eye and have no doubt that I will be back in the future and try some of the other dishes on offer.

I am a Birmingham native and have had the luxury of a wide variety of dining options in the area, from Selly Oak to Lozells and beyond. After recently moving to Lichfield and hearing glowing recommendations, my partner and I decided to try out Eastern Eye. We were not disappointed. My goat special was incredibly tender and seasoned with a delicious blend of herbs and spices that truly tantalized my taste buds. My partner's chicken special was also fantastic. The staff were attentive without being intrusive, and the host, Uncle, was a wonderful presence. In a city full of outstanding dining options, Eastern Eye is a true gem. I highly recommend it.
