"My friend is disabled at the moment, due to illness, when we looked for somewhere that had allergy friendly as my friend is gluten free. We asked the young lady if there was anything available gluten free for lunch which was around 1.15pm.she said no nothing oh we have a chocolate brownie, as my friend had struggled to get in she didn’t want to try anywhere else so sat with a cake for her lunch, I asked if it was possible to have a salad, told no we don’t do salads. I asked for a side salad with my sandwich to be told it had to be In sandwich.very dissatisfied with today I was taking my lovely friend out and also she was trying to cheer me up from my husband’s bereavement."

"Been here tonight with 6 adults and 5 children for a Family celebration. I dropped the cake and banners off the night before and they sorted everything out ready for us to arrive. We use amigos alot when we have family occasions as there is a lovely atmosphere and friendly staff who can't do enough for you. Especially the Manager who is always brilliant with the children and he is always very chatty and assertive. Cannot recommend the place enough. The food is always amazing and we always feel comfortable and at ease with their patients when eating with small children. Looking forward to our next visit!"

"My partner and I tried this restaurant for the first time on Friday night. We were blown away by how wonderful it was. Jane, our server, was delightful. The food was simply amazing. I ordered the lamb with sweet potatoes, while my partner had the stuffed peppers. We were not disappointed at all - the food was incredibly tasty and bursting with flavor. The portion sizes were generous as well. We are looking forward to coming back and trying more dishes from the menu. Thank you, Jane, for a lovely evening."

"After being recommended vigour by an friend, I popped in for lunch. On arrival, I was greeted by a friendly staff member who made me feel welcome. Going through the extensive menu full of delicious delights and delicacies, I opted for shredded pork tortillas and pork bao bao for starters, and steak (medium rare and eggs (soft poached. For mains with a refreshing cola with ice, and a creamy coffee for after. The atmosphere in there is really quite nice. The rustic vibe, of exposed bricks, rot iron fixtures and neon signs gave it plenty of character. While the ability to see into the kitchen gave you a good sense of connection to where the action truly takes place. Their shredded pork tortillas came as a trio with a lovely dip. Being a starter, they were small but flavorful. The bao bao which i can only describe as tortillas but in a softer and thicker wrap with a slightly sweet note to them were lovely, and made for a pleasant new experience. They were quite accommodating when I asked for peppercorn sauce for my steak, and managed to do a flat ironed steak to perfect medium rare. With creamy yolk gently glazing it, every mouthful was a joy. I will also note their coffee was particularly creamy and frothy which I really liked. Now, the one potential down side for some is the prices. While the food I had was lovely, and I don't at all regret going. I will say it's not somewhere you go to eat on a tight budget. You pay for the atmosphere, and the food quality is above many typical cookie cutter restaurants. My meal came to just over £34 drinks included, and while I can't make it a regular, I surely will be making it a spot my son and I go to treat ourselves. I will say that if I had my son with me at the time, I could have split the starters and just added chips to the mains to feed both of us quite happily for not much more. Should you be in a position to go regularly, take advantage of their loyalty scheme and get some tasty perks."

"We decided to take a chance and visit this restaurant without a reservation. Despite two parties being expected, we were not turned away. The staff were very friendly and ensured we were satisfied with everything. Of course, we were happy because the food was exceptional and the bar staff were fantastic. Even the owner took the time to have a chat and share a laugh with us. I highly recommend trying this place for yourself, but I would suggest calling ahead to check if they can accommodate you."
