"I parked overnight on Sunday 3rd May and was unsure if the restaurant was open for food service, as many truck stops only offer parking. Luckily, the café was serving takeaways. The takeaway was decent, not amazing, but it was hot and edible, although somewhat limited. It was still appreciated as a hot meal. The toilets, wash basins, and shower rooms were very clean, which was impressive considering the large number of parked trucks, mostly with foreign drivers. I wanted to leave a review to show my gratitude for providing for us drivers when many other places have closed. I must mention that under normal circumstances, excellent meals are always served at reasonable prices. Clean and organized facilities are all we ask for, and that is exactly what was provided."

Rugby truck stop is a great place to stop and have a bite to eat. Large dining area and good food at sensible prices. Staff very nice too.

Clean well presented facilities with excellent, good value breakfasts. I’m not a trucker but don’t mind “roughing it” but you don’t have to here and it will now form party of my route planning if driving that way and need a bite to eat. Ver carta

Traveling up A5 decided to stop for lunch. Restaurant and toilets clean unlike a lot of motorway services. Food fairly basic but not dissimilar to motorway services other than portion sizes much larger and about 30% cheaper. Would certainly use again

Regrettably, the Truck Stop missed out on their usual 5 stars. The service and value are still excellent, but they didn't have mushrooms, and the beans like the tomatoes were only lukewarm. On top of that, there was a much longer wait than usual making this breakfast only average.

We have visited this cafe multiple times. The food is always served hot, which is a plus. The service is excellent and the staff are very helpful. We brought my son, who has severe learning disabilities, and they made it a smooth experience by bringing his food quickly. He struggles with waiting, so this was greatly appreciated. I highly recommend this cafe. Ver carta

Have stopped here for a drink on a few occasions but decided to have lunch on this visit. My partner had half chicken with salad. The salad filled half the large plate and there was coleslaw too. I opted for the southern fried chicken, which was two sizeable coated chicken breasts, and I chose beans and fries to go with the chicken. The portion size was very big. Both meals tasted great and we polished off the lot. Washed down with two unlimited teas, the total price was less than £15. Great value and we're already planning when we can go back for another meal. Oh, and the staff were really great too!

If you have a preconceived notion of a truck stop as a small, greasy diner with a few men in high visibility vests, you will be pleasantly surprised here. Located within the Eddie Stobart depot, this restaurant is open to everyone and offers high-quality, affordable hot food. The hot drinks are inexpensive and you can get refills at no additional charge. The establishment also has a shop, very clean restrooms, and even showers available for truck drivers. We have passed by many times assuming it was only for the trucking community, but now that we know it is open to all, we will definitely be returning.

"I had been reading a lot on Facebook about the pub and the quality of the food on offer. So when my partner suggested an impromptu Sunday lunch I suggested The White Horse. I called to check they would still be serving as time was getting on. I booked a table for 3.30pm. We arrived and were met by very friendly staff who got us drinks and showed us to our table. I had intended to try the new Trio of meats sharing board which had been publicised on Facebook, however it transpires that it had “blown up” and sold out in hours. Also, they were out of beef and Yorkshire puddings. Could have been disappointing but we are both realistic people and understand we had booked last minute and late in the day, the weather was also fantastic so a lot of folks were out and about. The waitress offered us steak in place of beef. When we had asked about the sharing board she asked the kitchen what they could do and they were able to offer some pork belly, which my partner had, I took the steak. We shared bread and olives to start, with some halloumi fries. My partner says they were the best she had ever had. Both dishes were delicious. The main courses were equally delicious. I particularly enjoyed the red cabbage and cauliflower, the pork was moist and sweet, the steak tender. We very much enjoyed our experience and will be back very soon, though we will plan better, book earlier and will give a review on the Trio of meats sharing board very soon. Looking forward to it already. Highly recommended."
