"You would be surprised that one of the top sushi restaurants is actually in the Swiss Alps... Fresh fish, Japanese chefs who know how to cut the fish the right way. Great view especially in the Summer when you can eat on the terrasse, sip some sake and admire the mountains."

Food is just ok, service is kind but not really efficient in time. The terrace is comfortable and nice, not in winter though. A little too expensive for what you get.

You can enjoy authentic Japanese food here! For me, Japanese, who know many kinds of Japanese food in Switzerland, this is the best Japanese restaurant!! If you want to try traditional and sophisticated Japanese food, check it out!!

A restaurant that not only provides excellent Japanese dishes (sukiyaki, sushi, chicken teriyaki. There is the Japanese atmosphere, the employees who are smiling and helpful at the TOP. You will taste a little of Japan, by going to Edo.

"We have been coming back to Crans Montana every year for 16 years we know what restaurants are available in the area, but for some reason had never tried Le Farinet, so decided to give it a go and had high hopes given the good reviews. However, we had a very poor experience. The service was extremely slow, it took 20 minutes just to bring us menus (and we had a reservation). I then ordered a dish with the primary ingredient being seitan and when the food arrived, quickly realized the seitan was missing. I notified the waiter and he said oh, I’ll ask the chef and brought the food back to the kitchen after which it took 20 minutes for the dish to come back to me with its intended primary ingredient. Meanwhile, the rest of the people I was eating with were waiting to eat their food and of course 20 minutes later, their food was cold. Mistakes happen, I understand but the worst part about the experience was the response and attitude to the mistake. No coming to the table while I was waiting for the food to apologize, explain the mistake and even when the food finally came and we were quite cross with the delay, no real sense of an apology, just very cold and matter of fact. Finally, when we asked one waiter for the bill, we waited 20 minutes only to have another waiter give us the dessert menu and had to ask for it all over again. Additionally, even though our experience was tainted by the bad service, I can honestly say the food was bland. A few people at our table got the quinoa curry dish and there was little to no hint of curry flavor and the seitan, when it finally came, felt like it was just thrown in with a watery broth. So overall, although it’s in a great location and has a nice terrace, I wouldn’t recommend Le Farinet go to one of the other lovely restaurants in Crans Montana, and you’ll have a better experience."

"Worth the long review since it’s the least I can do for the outstanding experience! Stayed at LeCrans in February 2024 half term ski week. Hands down one of THE best hotel experiences we have ever had. We are generally after hotels which balance size (i.e., exclusive, providing tailored and personal service) with amenities. LeCrans nails it on both fronts 1) First and foremost, the staff were outstanding. The highest level of attentiveness to every single detail, always at hand at any time of night or day. Super professional, smiling and friendly, meticulously attired and suited to the hilt. When we asked for our fireplace to be lit, we had someone at our door in barely two minutes clutching a pile of wood. When dropping us off at restaurants, the chauffeur would walk us to the restaurant, open the door and wait for us to be greeted by the host hostess before heading back. When getting picked up from the slopes after a day’s skiing, the eagle eyed chauffeur would walk up the exit of the ski lift to carry our equipment down to the shuttle. We felt totally spoiled Surprised us with treats not just any treats, but they had clearly observed our preferences during the trip which made it feel a lot more more personal and tailored freshly baked biscuits, candies, bottle of bubbly, and board games for our 11 year old son. I have very rarely experienced this level of attentiveness, all delivered without being intrusive or overbearing Special shoutout to Steffan, Ryan, Rennan who ferried us every day and looked after our every need, concierge Giovanna who made sure we had all our restaurants pre booked on the slopes and for dinner, and Jeremy who looked after our son at breakfast 2) We stayed in a Junior Suite. Beautiful decor with very high ceilings, tasteful wood panelling, and a fireplace. Panoramic view of the mountains. Large bathroom. Very well maintained with all the modern amenities 3) Having an on site Michelin starred restaurant is generally a harbinger of the service you can expect at the hotel. Restaurant LeMontBlanc was an absolute treat, lovely wine selection, excellent service and food and a must do for at least 1 2 nights of the stay 4) The spa was amazing, far exceeded expectations given the boutique nature of the hotel. With only 13 rooms, despite being fully booked, there were no more than 2 3 people visible at the pool whenever we were there. Modern and very well maintained indoor pool and jacuzzi, outdoor heated pool with beautiful views, fully kitted out gym, and steam and sauna. The spa staff were lovely and quite a few available for spa treatments Of course, given the more secluded location, you can’t just stroll out to a bar or restaurant. But they make up for this with the prompt and accessible personal shuttle (pretty much everywhere is a 7 10 min drive). After a long day of skiing Après ski, we were fine to head back to the hotel to freshen up before heading out to dinner via shuttle We would 100% stay again. If you’re looking for a super exclusive, high quality, and pampered experience in a beautiful hotel and setting, this is the place to stay. Not cheap by any measure, but a holiday where you come away comforted that you got your money’s worth and a lasting memory"
