"This restaurant is just GROSSARTIG. If I'm near Oberammergau is a visit, or two, or three is a MUST. The food is simply incredibly delicious and that at a more than reasonable price. I have also brought my whole family here and all of them were totally enthusiastic about the enjoyment here. A big DANKE to the Mundart team. "Allora iniziamo a dire che il locale non eccelle per arredamento e struttura e questa può essere l'unica pecca.Veniamo a tutto ciò che è positivo:- ho preso la zuppa di gulash con pezzi di wurstel e la kartoffensalad .... eccezionali! Piatti semplici ma cucinati per offrire gusti ottimi e originali. Le quantità sono abbondanti e i prezzi onestissimi- la cameriera é stata, oltre che disponibile e premurosa, anche estremamente onesta! Mi ha fatto notare che stavo ordinando una quantità eccessiva di cibo ( abituato alle porzioni italiane) indirizzandomi su un ordine più bilanciato a discapito del loro guadagno! Altro che le fregature che rifiliamo spesso a Roma o Venezia!Esperienza molto positiva"

"We went to the Passion games and had dinner here at the break. We had already reserved table from home. It worked fine. A top organized restaurant with very nice staff and a good selection at the buffet. We had a cozy table on the terrace, there was nothing to criticize for us. Very recommended."

"Unterschiedlichere Kritiken habe ich selten gelesen.Darum mach ich gern meine eigenen Erfahrungen und schreib sie hier nieder.Ich war mit einmal mit einer Bekannten und einmal mit meiner Frau hier. Wir 3 konnten,beim besten Willen nicht negatives,über die Speisen,noch das Personal finden,dies stets höflich und flott und zuvorkommend unterwegs war. Die Speisen die wir bestellten,waren in einem sehr guten Preisleistungsverhältnis und ausnahmslos sehr lecker zubereitet.Immer wieder gerne ;-)"

"Interesting that I would have to come all the way to Oberammagau to find great Mexican food in Germany. The Germans don't do spicy very well; schnitzel and bratwurst yes, spicy no. So I was skeptical when my wife wanted to go try El Puente because she wanted Mexican food. We've been to two places in Stuttgart, and both of them ranged from bad to on par with Taco Bell. The first thing that strikes you is the atmosphere. Very lively, great music (ranging from Tejano to other styles of Mexican music which I am unfamiliar with), and the decor is very interesting. I wouldn't say authentic, as authentic places in Mexico don't quite have their walls festooned with cattle skulls, serapes, and sombreros, it's understandable that they have to set the mood, given that the Alps are just around the corner. The food was great, well above what I expected. I had the Chili con Carne, and while this is usually a throwaway dish on the menu, I would say this should be a go-to menu item for anyone wanting a little spice in their life. Not overpowering spice, but it's enough to let you know that it's there. The fresh baked bread to dip into the Chili con Carne was also a great touch. My wife had the chicken enchiladas, which had a lot of flavor, the tortillas tasted very fresh, and the chicken was very tender. Overall, another place to put down in our books of regular places we will go when we are in Oberammagau (see my s'Wirsthaus review for another place)."
