"Armed with a certificate from Zomato, I drove to this restaurant for lunch with two colleagues. This place had a lot to live up to in comparison to the Burrito trend that seems to be sweeping London during lunchtime, but unfortunately it did not quite meet expectations. The variety of meat fillings was impressive, but the bark tinga did not seem to be of the highest quality despite its promised stamp of approval. The guacamole was complimentary compared to other places, but one of my colleagues found there to be too much rice in her veggie burrito. In general, the lack of customers when we entered was perhaps a reflection of how this place compared to others. My search for the perfect London burrito continues. I may just have to write another blog post about it."

I asked for extra pork and it was graciously accommodated with a slight upcharge. The dish was then topped with cheese, salad, guacamole, pico de gallo, and salsa verde.

My favorite place in London! If you're searching for pretentious food, this is definitely not the place for you. But if you're in the mood for authentic and fast Mexican food, then I couldn't recommend El Burrito any more.

Very authentic Mexican food (it has everything: excellent enchiladas, tacos, burritos, aguas de horchata and much more... and super nice staff! Absolutely recommended for all those who miss Mexican food or finally want to get a real taste of this world heritage! Its further very affordable and has a cozy seating area!

Really good Mexican restaurant. All the ingredients seems to be fairly fresh and the burritos are tasty and generously big. My order have been taken by a really kind waitress and she came back several times to be sure that every thing was all right : Indeed it was ! The price are fair enough : £25 for two people (Nachos, Pint and Burritos) Really good address Ver carta

Thank you to Zomato for the £20 voucher to this place. Its right around the corner from my office, i took 2 work mates with me. We ordered 3 burritos with change to spare from £20! So also got some Shrimp tacos. I got a Chicken Burrito, I was told that the chicken is Halal which gets a Thumbs up from me! It was great, really filling and spicy! We sat at he back its very small but simple and easy for lunch. Service n/a Food 4 Atmosphere 3 Value 4.5

Cheeky little mexican number tucked down the isde roads near Tottenham Court Road. A pretty extensive and tasty array of meat fillings and all the other classics you would expect in a burrito coming in at a couple of pounds less than you would normally expect in london. The seating area is pretty simple and not particularly inspiring, but I think the vibe here is more for the take away although they have a whole list of mexican tapas options which you can try out (i never have) On the whole, its a decent burrito shop offering what you would expect in a cheery way. Good but not uniquely special

small place, but in a street thrown away, never too full. also right next to a few pubs so perfect for a chow after a few pints or fast take along. unstoppable! how no fuss Mexican place should be. we wanted a burrito (mine was a chicken ****) we got burritos! the staff was super friendly and service was fast. their soft tacos use correct meal mais tortillas (not found the el paso sorte in most British restaurants) and not saturated with cheese! the guacamole was fresh, simple and tasty, just like guac should not be any random additional ingredients. overall we were happy and would go back to the place. We ordered food from this restaurant through Deliveroo. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it was cold and poorly packaged, causing a mess. The taste was not great, with the nachos and tacos being particularly disappointing. The worst part of the experience was when I called the restaurant to complain. The woman I spoke to was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge my complaint. She blamed Deliveroo for the cold food, even though they were not at fault. When I mentioned the quality of the food, she dismissively claimed that they had never received a complaint before and even said, "we're not Wahaca" in a non-helpful manner. To make matters worse, she hung up on me during the call.

A delightful gem tucked away in the heart of Fitzrovia, perfect for an informal meal with friends at any time. El Burrito has great character, with amusing translations of the Spanish dishes Limonada you know what this is!!!!! and much of the menu is tasty and cheap enough for you to mix and match a tailored meal for yourself. My personal favourite were the 'Alambres ' and I 'm pretty sure 'Agua de Horchata ' is now one of my favourite drinks. The music had me wanting to dance all the way through my meal and I just felt completely at ease all the way through the evening. My one criticism in order to balance this review is that the cheese provided on the nachos was pretty, if...read more

"The decor of the restaurant is really lovely. We were greeted as soon as we arrived. We placed our orders quite briskly. We received complimentary bread and olives, which was a nice touch. Our Bruchetta starter arrived a whole hour after we arrived, which was disappointing and far too long to wait for a cold and easy starter. The menu did not specify that the prawns on one of the bruschettas were raw! The waiter said service was slow because they were busy with Uber Eats and Deliveroo. Clearly not prioritising paying customers, who pay a 12.5% service charge, unlike online customers. Eventually, our main courses arrived. My pasta was only just cooked, so close to being undercooked and hard. They ran out of ricotta and replaced it with the tiniest amount of cheese so I asked for some more. Since ricotta was supposed to be the main ingredient of the dish. The tuna steak was lovely, and the veal could have done with a thinner breadcrumb batter. The sides, chips and zucchini, were £4.50 and very small portions for such a cheap side. So that was slightly disappointing. Overall, the pinot grigio white wine was very drinkable, and they brought tap water when we asked for it. And the whole staff were very polite. It was a shame the service was so slow, and the food could have been better for the price that it was. We also felt it was overpriced for the location it was, zone 2 London and not in the West End."
