Good atmosphere fun and friendly, staff fun and the food was great potato skins I had Whistler's chicken and a really nice side of chilli broccoli..would love the recipe for the salsa style salad too..

Shared natchos to start they were very nice and we both had pulled pork enchiladas ,one with rice one with fries both came with coleslaw. service was good , really enjoyed our meal. Must go more often.

Busy little restaurant advisable to book in advance.Good food,good service and reasonably priced.Early bird discount of 10% off (Bonus).Very popular with families.Would recommend if you like Tex-Mex,Steaks,Burgers etc. Ver carta

Last minute decision to go to Malton and first time here, we loved it great service fun atmosphere fab food. Great value for money and you won’t be hungry at the end, we had a shared platter and I had chicken fajitas which came on a hot plate. Would recommend

The new people running El Gringo’s are great! Same yummy food and good sized portions and the staff were super friendly and helpful. Great they are now open on a Monday night too. I am vegan and they were very accommodating and there were several options. We will be back.

Two bad experiences since the the new owners have taken over the food was so greasy the dishes I once loved are either really poor or not on the menu anymore, steak was really poor cut and all I can say is waste of 40 pounds apart from that the staff work hard to please so can’t moan about them but definitely a place we won’t be visiting anymore Ver carta

It was clear to us that the new owners are making significant improvements. The food was great, both the starters and main courses were delicious. The young lad who served us was brilliant, such a positive attitude. The new owner also made an effort to welcome us and was clearly keen that everyone was well looked after which was a nice touch. Looking forward to our next visit.

Went last night after walking out of a local Thai restaurant due to terrible service. Very happy we went! The menu is great lots to pick from very traditional tex mex. we had the sharing nachos to start! They were massive but so nice! We had a bucket of 6 beers too and a main each again massive! Didn’t manage to finish it but it was lovely. It had a great atmosphere too and was busy which is good to see in the currently climate. The staff managed really well to say how busy it was very friendly and efficient. The bill was Less than we thought too which was a added bonus! 100% will return but maybe just have nachos and beers!

We love Mexican food and we were looking forward to visiting. Upon arrival the best description I can give is chaotic. Every table was dirty and the bar was stacked with dirty glasses. The guy in charge said he’d been non stop for three hours and asked us to sit at a dirty table until they cleaned the others. After about 10 minutes and a new arrival was seated before us we were guided to a table. We were close to a large table of drunk younger people who were shouting. By this time we were losing confidence in the restaurant as they did not seem to care about our experience. After a further wait and no apology or service we decided to leave and managed to get a table at a Thai restaurant aro... Ver carta
