Excellent Tapas, service, and atmosphere. The Escargots were a great. Great value. We will come back here on our next visit to Strasbourg

Well, you will not eat any Spanish dish but some French revisited versions. The waitress are nice but not able to take orders. Forgot twice our drinks and had no idea if the yellow rice was actually prepared with saffron

What I choose on the menu was not that really special but you won't be hungry after eating here. We could sit on the terras and the weather was awesome. Luckily there were not many wasps like you see in other restaurants. Ver carta

The idea was good. Execution lousy. Food was late and wrong. Dishes weren't hot and the service from the waiter was arrogant. We had to wait over an hour and our orders didn't arrive at the same time - dining with kids didn't help. Considering the amount of offers in this area: look somewhere else

We've been here several times, with colleagues. Every single time it's the same story: they don't have items they offer in the menu (Jamon con melon, but no melon available) and afterwords they charge you for it. The waitresses are most of the time very unfriendly and don't smile at all. There are way more better tapas restaurants to find ok Strasbourg. Sorry for that!

An excellent restaurant with very friendly (which let's face it is rather rare in France) service. It is within a 15 minute walk both from the train station and cathedral. We had six tapas, a bottle of wine and a bottle of water for 55 euros. All six tapas were really original, for example Croquetas de Pollo were served with curry sauce and Manchego cheese with fig chutney. Will definitely come back next time we are in Strasbourg. We happened on this small and charming tapas restaurant near the tram station Homme de Fer in Strasbourg.The food was very good, the decor was stylish and the atmosphere friendly and lively.The real highlight for us was the friendliness of the staff. We ate here two nights and had 2 young women from Columbia as waitresses. They were students in Strasbourg. They helped us with our French and Spanish. They laughed with us and not at us. All in all a very enjoyable evening.

Last time (2 years ago) I was so impressed with the restaurant, that when I knew I had to go to Strasbourg on another business trip, I decided I would definitely have my dinner at El Pimiento. The business meeting was longer than what I had anticipated and my colleague and I had only 45 minutes to spend at the restaurant. We let the staff know we were in the hurry on our arrival and it took them less than 15 minutes to serve all the dishes we have ordered. Excellent food, excellent service, 6 tapas and a bottle of wine for €45 euros. Can't wait for my next true to Strasbourg.

I've been there once for lunch. After asking for the menu (in french) she offered me the "plate du jour," well, this is a little odd. If you ask for the menu, they should bring you the menu. So I ordered a coke and the plate du jour with starter without knowing the prices.After approx 10 minutes the starter arrived, a small piece of Pizza with Munster cheese. Not really spanish, but who cares. The Pizza was nice, but nothing really special.After another 35 minutes the main dish arrived, noodles with meat balls and tomato sauce, again, not really typical spanish, but well, it is plate du jour. The main was really average, avarage noodles, tasteless meatballs and a sauce that has seen no spice... Ver carta
