Excellent baby squids, tasty rabbit stew, excellent daurade professionally served. In fact portions are rather small not like in Greece, even the tsipouro. Good service. Wide and pleasant space.

Very dissapointing ! over priced ,small portions duett lamb . one small cutlet and mini kebab Euro ! Carola , after almost years I think you are ready to retire ,but there limits to what you can charge !

I'm a big fan of Mediterranean food, especially Greek. In Munich there are many Greek restaurants, ranging from fast-food gyros in pita to some high end restaurants. Elia is closer to the latter the setting is a nice restaurant with very professional staff and...high quality food, therefore the prices are a bit high.. I always check the grilled Dorade in such restaurants and mine was just perfect a big fresh and juicy fish. Ver carta

than often sgeek cuisine is awful abroad. Most greek restaurants serve only gyros, souvlaki and mousaka at best. As a result people think this is what greek food is all about. Well, I was more than satisfied with this greek restaurant. The menu offers...a variety of greek food, every day there are different dishes. The portions were good, the food was very tasty, stuff was quick and friendly and the prices were reasonable. It deserves a try

We had a nice outdoor seating in the warm july evening and had pretty high expectations on the food based on previous TA reviews. We ordered the souvlaki and bifteki dishes. They were both rather salty overall and my souvlaki had quite tough and greasy...pork meat. I have had better souvlakis before with more tender meat. Don't know if this is the german way because the like salty bratwurst... The nice surroundings compensated a little for the food though.

This is the second year running. Last year the stove wasn't working so I didn't feel right in reviewing. This year everything worked and... Very nice. Small restaurant, very much family type with simple but well cooked food. The owner recommended a appetiser plate with...various dips and fritter vegetables. Superb. The bread was also very good. Mains I tried the grilled calamari (top), gyros (slightly dry but good with tzatziki). The tuna steak was well seasoned and large portion. Overall the portions were huge. Had dinner here with family and friends recently. The restaurant interior is quite pleasant, staff and service were ok, but the food, although not outright bad, was rather bland and nothing at all special. It didn't bode well when none of us could taste any...garlic in the Zatsiki starter. I had a Gyros with squid, and the Gyros from my local takeaway just down the road from Elia beats theirs by a mile in taste. In summary, most dishes were simply boring in taste, not what I expect in a Greek restaurant of that price range of any other Greek restaurant for that matter.

I came twice for dinner during my week in Munich, so that proves a good experience. Real greek cooking. No fussion with German or anything like that. I had excellent dishes. Grilled Calamari, Salads and grilled Octopus. Everything fresh and tasty. The Waiter did suggest...me their pita bread which was also delicious. Both dinners, had a good couple of white wine glasses too. Loved their yoghurt with walnuts for dessert . Service was excellent and their greek staff very friendly and fast, Both nights they invited me to a greek liquor shot, couldn't remember the name but it was excellent too. So i'm more than grateful.

Our Air BnB host had recommended this place, and since it was cold, we all love Mediterranean food and it was close, we went. It's a modern, beautiful restaurant, food and wine were delightful. Our waiter however wasn't. He almost threw the food on our...table, seemed upset that we were speaking English among each other- it was no skin off his back, as I ordered for everyone in German! I was about to get up and ask for the manager/owner, when a petite lady came out of the kitchen, threw one look at him, and voila- he was a changed man. She personally came to our table (and everyone else's) to ask about the food and create a friendly atmosphere, like I know it from my many trips to Greece! Sh... Ver carta
