After a very friendly welcome and deciding on food wine (what a choice! we didn't have long to wait despite there being 6 of us.The food wine was delicious. The prices were very reasonable for the quality of the food service.

This Italian restaurant offers a menu without pizzas, featuring unique and special dishes with unexpected flavor combinations that create a "wow" factor. The wine list includes a selection of great wines from various regions of Italy that pair well with the dishes. The presentation of the dishes is also excellent. A hidden gem of a restaurant! Staying in hotel near by so had dinner here on a Friday night. The service was excellent and very friendly, the wine paired perfectly with my dinner (the duck ragu), and the pasta was the best I’ve had outside of Rome. I highly recommend this restaurant and although dining on my own I can imagine it would be a lovely place to share with friends.

I have dined at this restaurant approximately six times over the past few years and the food and service have consistently been excellent. The menu changes every few months, but always includes great vegetarian options. Be sure to save room for dessert - the chocolate mousse I had last night was the best yet. They also have an excellent wine selection.

Just down from Smithfield market a bistro Italian with some great food The starters are really quite large so if ordering the meat platter can easily share The Octapus was a stand out dish and came with some spicy beans so all up really delicious The small orders are really varied and good to share/graze Friendly and helpful service which put the icing on the cake Ver carta

Food and service is a bit hit and miss here. Bruschetta was no better than could be made by anyone, Pork Belly looked like a misplaced offcut and small by anyone's standards. Scallops were good and Panacotta was nice but overall the food was disappointing. Service was slow until it came to paying the bill. Don't think this place will last given the competition.disappointing

This is a very noisy restaurant, to the extent that having a conversation with the person sitting opposite you is a real strain. The menu is short and the wine list ids long which shows its providence as a wine bar with food, rather than a restaurant with wine. I ordered the skate wing with mussel sauce and green pepper for my starter which was a chef's special. The sauce was awful. No taste of mussel, just very hot green pepper. I only ate a mouthful. When the waitress came to collect the plates she did not comment on my full plate and I had to stop her to complain. She just looked at me as if I was an idiot. Upon entering a completely empty restaurant during lunchtime, I was reminded of what it was like to dine alone in London as I was directed to a small table. It wasn't until the manager noticed my hesitation that I was informed I could sit anywhere. I was the only diner for the entire lunch period, and it's not surprising why. Despite wanting to support the restaurant, I was only given the option of the £10 specials menu, rather than the expensive à la carte menu. It seemed unusual that with the chef not busy, they would opt for a lower-priced menu. The portion sizes were disappointingly small, with the soup barely filling the bowl and the Ragu lacking meat.
