"We didn't do too much eating at L'Escale but what we did have was great. If however, it's a pub you're looking for, look no further than here in St. Gilles - great range of beers (and cocktails), TV's showing sport and excellent music. What more can you ask for? Staff are brilliant and cope admirably with my limited grasp of the French language. Chapeau!"

Without hesitation, my cheese and ham baguette was modified with the addition of a hard boiled egg and mayonnaise and was wonderful. The staff here and next to the sister bar L’Escale are very friendly and friendly. Ver carta

As the title suggests, the chips were good, but the portions were small. The pizza was average, but adequate. The guys serving were great, very friendly and professional. We'd probably return but I doubt we'd go for a full meal again.

Sandwiches made to order... my wife had a customized baguette. Bar next door is fantastic, great staff, drinks selection, sports tv...volume off, unless necessary. Pagers, so you can have a drink while you wait. Best Irish coffee... thanks Zaza!
