The owner is the best. Fun and friendly, but classy too. Great food and great service in a Cubano 20's themed bar.

We were once again looking for new flavors and in this search we ended up in Esscobar, after of course we had previously reserved a place for Boxing Day. We were warmly welcomed and the staff was super attentive and accommodating. The food was well prepared and tasted very well. As the saying goes, simply delicious! Their menu is simple but every dish has an interesting fusion twist like Wiener Schnitzel made with chicken brest with a delicious sauce and served with orzo side.Their pasta dishes all had intriguing elements. Something you don't expect in a town where you see kebabs and curryworst everywhere. Case in point: they even had a vegan dish.If you are in Cottbus, this is probably your best bet if you want something beyond basic Italian.

as the guest of the nearby SORAT hotel, we were told that we would be reduced on the bill. a nice thing, but not the reason to visit this restaurant.
