Everest Curry King - Carta

Ordered lamb kothu roti, egg and fish roll, and fish roti. Excellent flavour for a very decent price!

Didn't like the way they put everything into one plastic small container. instead of putting curry, dahl, starter into separate containers as we were all going to share our currys but couldn't do so due to this.

Loved the chicken roti dish and the aubergine and mutton curry on the set menu meal, amazing food! Had a mango lassi to balance the spice, which was also delicious! Huge portions, we took some home with us. Definitely going back. Ver carta

I did not enjoy the flavors, price, or decor of this restaurant. I did not find it to be a good value or quality for the price. They added a service charge even though there was no service to speak of. The alcohol prices were also very high.

The server, Ajit, was excellent. He was engaging, entertaining, and provided great recommendations on what to order. We made good choices. The food was superb, with a delicious combination of subtle yet impactful flavors and just the right amount of spice. Overall, it was a fantastic dining experience.

All the menu items we had were very tasty, served by a helpful and very welcoming staff. The new dining room is eclectic (swings at the bar area) but curiously charming. The menu is interesting and definitely offers a Sri Lankan flavour. Well worth a visit if you enjoy the spicier end of South Asian cuisine. Caters well for vegetarians. Ver carta

We were planning to go to their restaurant next door, but unfortunately it was closed, so we decided to eat here and I must say this place did not disappoint. The food tasted so fresh and yum. Satisfied all of our cravings. We ended up over ordering and over eating because the food was so good. Every dish we tried was flavourful and spicy. Highly recommended if you are craving some solid Sri Lankan dishes.

I would suggest trying the set meal for £15 as it offers great value for money. I had one meat curry, two vegetable dishes, and rice. Unfortunately, the paratha was a bit dry, but considering the price, it was acceptable. The cocktails were surprisingly good, especially the arrak roots that were recommended to me. It's a unique drink, so if you're adventurous, give it a try! There is also a small deli next door where you can purchase treats to take home.

Ordered from this restaurant on Deliveroo at 22:49 they close at 11. You assume every restaurant is aware and accepts people could order right up to their close time. The order was accepted. 45 minutes pass, and Deliveroo call me. Sorry, we are cancelling your order, the rider arrived and the restaurant was closed . Why accept the order on the system (which someone would HAVE to do or these systems automatically cancel a sent order if not accepted) when you have no intention of making it? Why leave your business for the evening with an order still pending? 1* well deserved. Now it 's almost midnight and we have to find somewhere else to order from.
