This place is a great wee local takeaway. Have tried many others in Carrickfergus, but keep coming back here. Very reasonable priced as well.

Food always piping hot, good range of the menu to suit everyone. Staff always friendly and helpful Remember they only take cash NO CARDS. Frequent quite often and never disappointed

I ordered chinese spare ribs, spring rolls and satay chicken. The spare ribs were tough and inedible the spring rolls very greasy and the satay chicken had very little chicken but just bread crumbs. `i would never return to this Chinese carryout Ver carta

I love the Chinese takeaway in my neighborhood that is able to accommodate special dietary needs. As a diabetic, I appreciate that they can make a tasty chicken ginger and spring onion dish without any sugars or sweeteners. The delivery is quick and the prices are reasonable. It's a treat!

I ordered food delivery tonight - beef curry, chips, and noodles. Honestly, I should have just cooked my own. The curry was so spicy I couldn't eat it. The chips and noodles were decent, but I would recommend going elsewhere or making your own like I should have. It couldn't have been any worse.

This is our go to Chinese for the nights where I just can't be bothered cooking or just when I want a really great takeaway! Always friendly service and yes as the other review states, a great serving when it comes to the food, not only in portion size but in quality. The food is always clean and I've never (in over 10 years eating from here) had a bad meal. Ver carta

The staff were friendly and provided very efficient and helpful service. The portion sizes were very large. However, we were disappointed to find that this was the worst Chinese takeout we have ever experienced. The Crispy Golden Chicken was discolored and looked uncooked, similar to prawns. The meats were covered in cold, sticky gravy, and we could not identify what type of meat it was. The Chicken satay had more of a curry flavor. Additionally, we were given a complimentary bag of oily prawn crackers.

the best Chinese takeaway. eating is always hot and full of taste. the personal is friendly and the delivery is always fast. massive portion sizes and also not expensive. I was a child and never had a bad experience. the chicken roast rice is amazing. if, as I, they like curry, but can not season with the, I highly recommend the Malaysian style curry. it has a little spicy yet, but it is not above the top. it is also creamier and brighter in the color than regular curry. in contrast to many other takeaways they find no fillers like carrots in their curry (see that in a lot of Chinese takeaways in belfast) or tinted ham in their chicken stable.

I have past this place many times and never called in, So glad I did what a surprise. A very basic Chinese Take Away with open kitchen which looked very clean. One chap cooking and was supported by a few staff all very friendly. The portion sizes were above average, tasted very fresh and the most tender meats I have had in a long time from a Chinese take away! Chef was happy to let me order off menu and had no problem in making my curry extra extra hot as requested! Standard Curry is a bit on the hot side but loads of flavor. I have to travel 5 miles further to get to Evergreen but I will be going there from now on as they are far far superior to all the Chinese in Carrickfergus! Two visits... Ver carta
