we throughly enjoy coming on Sundays to get dinner, the beef and chicken sizzler is absolutely world class!

Had a fantastic meal, haddock and leeks. Beautiful. Staff are so friendly. Busy Saturday night recommend that you book in advance.

I would definetely recommend to a friend as everything was very good and I had champ which had plenty of scallions in it which normally doesnt happen

Great food great service lovely staff. We eat here quite often and cant fault the food or service. It was bank holiday monday and we thought it wud prob b 2 busy. It was very busy but staff and food were great as usual so no complaints.

We have been to Ownies many many times and have never been disappointed. This time was no different.we were a bit early but our table was ready, the waitresses were very attentive and the food was delicious as usual. And or course we will be dining there again.......hopefully very soon .

Had a lovely meal but at time of booking did not anticipate having to sit in the bar for our meal. Any other time I’ve been to the restaurant so was a bit disappointing to find we had to sit downstairs. This was not a last minute booking and was not given any reason why we were not seated in the restaurant upstairs.

Was there on Easter Monday for dinner. The place was very busy with many large parties but the staff still managed to take great care of everyone. Our server, in particular, was excellent in also handling our initially fussy toddler, helping my sister feel welcome which can be a struggle sometimes for parents with little ones. The food was delicious. I started with the salt and chili squid. It was beautifully seasoned and packed a bit of a kick at the end. My main was the signature seafood chowder. Having traveled around Ireland and eaten a boatload of fish/seafood chowder, Ownies is still my favorite by a mile. Always a great time with wonderful, warm service and delicious food. I look forw...
