Fanelli's - Carta

I went to Fanelli's for the second time and had a great experience. The food was delicious with generous portions, and the service was attentive. Overall, it was an enjoyable visit.

very friendly welcome and nice food. As the resturant is within an enclosed courtyard it has a nice feeling of being outside but inside. There are other restaurants etc around and so it can be quite noisy.

The service at this restaurant was quite slow, taking nearly 1.5 hours for just two courses. While the starter arrived quickly, the pizza seemed to have been sent all the way to Italy before coming to our table. Ver carta

Extremely pleasant staff ,2 course lunch menu was excellent value , food was delicious , nice to sit and relax after eating without getting rushed out of restaurant, would definitely recommend and will most certainly be back .

The meal was a family get together for American and Canadian nieces and it suited everyone’s taste from pizza for kids to lovely Italian lasagne to a picky husband who had chicken. All thoroughly enjoyed. Thanks to staff and chef

I have been to this restaurant on a few occasions, the food has always been excellent, this was the first time I had been during the week for lunch. I was accompanied by my two sisters, they enjoyed their meal as much as I did, at £8.95 for two courses, what a bargain, big portions. Ver carta

The food was delicious, but unfortunately, I found a piece of metal in my starter. Additionally, my main course was prepared incorrectly, so I had to wait an extra 10 minutes for a new one. The staff did remove the starter from the bill, but I was disappointed by the two mistakes, especially since the restaurant was not even busy at the time.

The noise level was idiotic we had to shout which is hardly conductive to civilised conversations. Even ordering was made difficult, the staff had to be right next to you in order to understand what you were asking for which was challenging, given how close together the tables were. Would or could not turn down the music. The food was good and proper Italian, the staff were very friendly and cheerful .

Food and service were both good and we even didn't mind being seated next to the kitchen door but what really spoilt the evening was at the end of our main course the music volume was doubled and as we were sitting next to a speaker we had to shout to each other to be heard. Twice we asked for the music to be turned down, but it didn't seem any quieter. Whatever happened to background music that meant you could still talk and hear each other rather than shouting at each other. Ver carta
