"very cozy restaurant, I felt like eating in an old friendly house, which is very polite and a remarkable cook! high quality and fresh ingredients; the warm crabs and avocado pancakes were particularly exciting; followed by a perfect Sunday roast. the homemade ice was a star finish to eat. looks just from the outside, but in them are greeted by a beautiful traditional French thema. beautiful environment, sets a really relaxed yet prestigious atmosphere immediately."

"I’ve dined at many wonderful restaurants over the years, but this one truly stands out among the best. The quality is exceptional. The presentation of the dishes is stunning, and the flavors are even more impressive than their appearance—everything looks fantastic! They also offer a nice selection of wines; I highly recommend trying the Cremont. The desserts created by the chef are outstanding. In fact, everything that comes out of the kitchen is remarkable. It’s one of the rare places where I would be happy to order anything from the menu, knowing it would be both delicious and visually appealing. The chef is incredibly talented. If you appreciate good food and are looking for excellent value, this restaurant is a must-visit. It has officially become my favorite restaurant in Glasgow."

"The Finsbay is under new management and sorry guys you are making a mess of what used to be a great place to eat. We were there yesterday. The menu choice was not nearly as varied as it used to be. My wife said her choice was ok. I had a chicken burger and chips. It was eatable however a piece of fried chicken dipped in buffalo sauce with one thin slice of tomato, a gherkin the size of a toddlers pinkie and a slimy leaf of wilted lettuce on a bun with chips wasn’t good for £14. Ridiculous really. Macdonald’s do a superior burger with more ingredients and far tastier for less than half that price. The quality of food is nowhere near the standard it was before. I did speak with the manager and explained why I didn’t like the lunch too. No offer of discount was made. The place used to be buzzing even on a Wednesday afternoon, not now though. I really wish their management fix the issues on menu selection, food quality and ridiculous price because I want them to be successful in a tough business these days. I hope they are listening because the good people of the area deserves better than this and I know they can do better. I don’t want this restaurant to close over fixable issues. We won’t be going to this restaurant again until they improve the menu, quality of food and get a handle on the ridiculous prices. "Spent over £60 Well I had heard how good this place was and decided to give it a try even though they are more expensive than most. I ordered popadoms spiced onions, fish pakora and a chicken Tikka to start. And 3 different mains. Also mango chutney. I put on on line and rang to check if it was ready which they confirmed it was. However on arrival I had to wait a further 20 mins. When I got home I noticed there was no popadoms so I had to go back down again. Stupidly I thought they would refund money for popadoms but I had to complain to save a few quid for my hassle. Also didn’t get the mango chutney. Both starters were tasty although for the price not much chicken. Main courses the meat was very small portions and small pieces of meat. In the King prawn curry their idea of King prawns and actual King prawns are miles apart. Prawns were tiny and obviously straight out of the freezer. Food tasted okay, over priced, small portions and poor service. Maybe we got this on a night when they were too busy. Will not be back."

"we had breakfast here before we started on the west highland way. had vegan Scottish breakfast with faux haggis, beans, roasted brot, mushrooms and cherry tomatoes, and a soy cappuccino. it tasted great and was very full. I had a regular (not big) cappuccino, who was huge in my opinion. highly recommended as breakfast before they were to drymen (or further) on the whw! they had more vegan options that looked great, but unfortunately we only had one tomorrow there."
