Chicken tenders were tough. So called chips with truffle oil and parmesan were in fact frozen french fries only lightly fried with an unknown cheese melted on top. Very disappointing. Doubt I would go back. Food: 3 Service: 4 Atmosphere: 3

Lunch special on a quiet Wednesday. We came from an instagram post (which we later realised was from the west end location) but the staff accommodated us anyway and served us this incredible steak sandwich lunch special. Thanks team! We will be back

Disappointing experience overall. There was a 45 minute wait for food despite there being only a few other customers. We were not told about the specials available or the promotions that were on at the time. We also had to ask for our bill after waiting quite a while and one drink came in a dirty glass. You could hear staff arguing/ discussing weekend plans from the bar area. The menu was not the same as online. The mac and cheese was advertised as vegetarian yet was served with pancetta and beef fat chips. I added the gochuyang prawns which weren’t worth the extra £4. The truffle fries were also mediocre. Won’t be back.

The food wasn’t bad fish and chips went down well, but the service was really bad staff not on the ball at all. We might have ordered more food and drinks if we’d actually been asked. We had to ask for the lunch menus (no offer of anything for a toddler) ask to order drinks, ask for the bill and then stood around with coats on waiting for the card machine while staff chatted at the bar. They seemed a bit lost/undirected under a manager who avoided eye contact between being glued to his phone and laptop. Having worked in the service industry myself for decades, it’s pretty frustrating to have an experience like this no matter how busy you claim to be. Hopefully just a bad day for them but I’l...
