After a major refurb, this place now has a bigger cult following, using the Takeaway and Restaurant offer.

Really nice chips and peas, very big portions and you can eat in our on benches outside. My friends also loved the whitebait!

Ordered a take away and ordered a bread roll or so I thought On delivery I found a burger bun without any butter at a cost of £1:25!!! Will not be ordering again at that price

Went there for a lunch, took a classic fish and chips. The quality of the food is low, you can taste that everything was frozen and not fresh, even chips. Fish was over-fried and oily. Chips tasted like they were old. Not impressed at all. Ver carta

Fantastic decor with a range of craft beers, cocktails and very personable service. I believe the owner puts his heart and soul into the quality and cleanliness of this place. Fish batter was crispy and chips were nice and mushy. Will be back, thoroughly recommended.

The service at this restaurant was indifferent and apathetic. Despite being told there was no fish left, I was made to wait for 20 minutes while other customers were served. The server was engaged in a loud discussion about the chips with a regular customer, ignoring me in the process. Eventually, I was informed that there were no fish or battered sausages left, and I had to settle for a cold ‘Jumbo Sausage’ that had been sitting there for 20 minutes. The portion of chips was meagre and the overall experience was uncomfortable due to the server's reluctance.

First impressions of the décor so modern, so relaxing! The menu is very extensive for a fish and chip restaurant. Had a selection of starters – calamari, scampi, whitebait, fishcake – these were all nice and crisp. I went for the sea bass which was grilled beautifully – the skin was crisp and the fish tasted extremely fresh, not to mention the size it was biggest whole sea bass I’ve ever been served. The cod was a good size, and not too greasy. You have to try their curry sauce this had a good kick to it! Thought I was full but I just had to get a dessert, and I went for the elderflower and strawberry cheesecake let’s just say I’m so glad I didn’t share this as it was wonderfully light, not...
