"Lost for words. I used Justeat to place an order at this shop about two weeks ago. It was late at night and I was no doubt their last order. The driver was an hour late and the food was stone cold and dripping with oil. Everyone knows you can 't reheat a chippy, it 's just not the same. I phoned the shop straight away and got the phone put down on me. I was then contacted by a guy called Freddie who was very apologetic and said he couldn 't send out another order as the fryers had been turned off so he said I would be given a refund which I though was pretty decent of him. A Liverpudlian guy (not sure who he was) then eventually gave me a cash refund in person and was also apologetic although he kept the delivery charge. I considered all was done and forgiven. However, a few days later this same Liverpudlian guy comes to my flat on a Sunday at dinner time harassing me for the money back as Justeat had apparently already refunded me as he saw it on his invoice. They didn 't refund me, but had given me an account credit to use towards another food purchase. I wasn 't aware of this at the time. I couldn 't believe how unprofessional and bang out of order this was. I will not be using this chippy ever again, which is a shame as going by the reviews the food was probably decent had it been delivered on time."

Came in on 11/7/2020 with my friend for a gluten free fish supper, 2 smoked sausage and a steak pie supper, absolutely amazing, best gluten free fish supper I have had, excellent quality of food, great price and excellent customer service, will certainly visit again!!

I think it’s a good chip shop but SO sad and disappointed to see that they’ve changed the vegan sausages to a different type or brand after finding someone fairly local to me offering this option. I could only eat one of them. ???? Loved the ones you used to use. Please change them back. Ver carta

Had dinner from Figaros tonight, everything was perfect! Service with a smile from the very friendly staff! Food was lovely, chips were cooked to perfection, delighted with everything.... ... Probably the best chippy food I've had in a long long time! Definitely be back for more.. 5*service 5*food... ?

I had a home delivery from here a month ago. Vegan pizza and chips. It was great. This time I decided to pop in to place order. It took some time for my order to be ready. About 30 mins I reckon. This is ok. I'm patient. Sadly I noticed my fritters being dipped in the same batter as fish and then fried in the same oil as fish. So whilst having vegan options on my doorstep is great I reckon more attention to detail is needed. The pizza was great, as where the chips which were fried separately. Sadly my fritters went in the bin. This might not be a big problem to some people but I cannot see how that is vegan. On a plus for vegans...the chips are fried in veg oil and they do have other vegan o...
