Flags Cafe - Carta

Lovely beach front location. Staff very friendly and food was good as usual lovely big jacket potatoes! We look forward to going back.

Lovely cooked breakfast in a friendly well run cafe on the beach between Holland on Sea and Clacton. Take in the sea views and relax with an enormous pot of tea.

I have to say, this is the best licenced cafe on the beach. Service excellent, with a smile and the food is really good. I've had many a breakfast there and the standard is always high. The coffee is excellent and I would have no problem recommending this place to anyone. Lovely location too.

Once again, what a lovely lunch we had at Flags. Went for my sister’s birthday the owners Leslie Mark could not have been more welcoming, even gave us a bottle of wine cake for my sister s birthday. The food drinks are really reasonably priced the food was home cooked lovely. Thanks for a great day

We visited again this week with our dog, Quincy. The owner, Lesley, greeted us warmly and treated Quincy to a sausage sundae. There are always sausages and dog friendly cakes for the fur babies. We had a relaxing coffee and bacon sandwich as we looked out to sea. Always a joy to visit the Flags Cafe when we are in the area. Ver carta

Flags is amazing The food is really outstanding, always freshly prepared, hot, tasty and such generous portions sizes. Cakes are all homemade and added bonus the Cafe is licensed for that cheeky bottle of wine. Often there is live music which is fantastic situated right on the Beach. Dogs are welcome and the owner always makes sure the fur Babies are well looked after with her specially made sausages. They cater for all dietary requirements and nothing is too much trouble in this spotless welcoming establishment.

We visit Flags cafe on a regular basis and have always found it to be welcoming and best of all dog friendly. All the food is lovely and fresh and cooked when ordered. The cakes are all homemade and delicious. The owner, Lesley is such a sweet lady We have a rescue dog who is scared of people and will bark at everyone. He has never barked at Lesley, she is the only person he has never barked at. Of course he does know that she makes pup cakes and sausages for all the fur babies that visit. Brilliant food karen is great especially with my dog Molly if I’m not careful she’d take her home. Karen’s a great asset to this cafe. Always a great smile and welcome. Food comes out quickly molly likes the dog sausages. One thing I’d like to see is umbrellas if weathers not windy as now weather is changing there’s always a chance of a shower and then your stuck eating when it’s raining. But I couldn’t fault this place 10/10 not sure when it closes for winter I will ask girls when I next see them Karen here’s a photo of molly I think Karen will know who molly is Ver carta
