Really enjoyed our lunch here. Nice and friendly staff. Excellent sandwich with salmon and cream cheese, tea, coffee and crumpets. Will definitely come back.

Beautiful vegan options. We had the chickpeas and lenses that were beautiful, but a small part for almost £10 everyone! Really good vegan scene, but no vegan cream.

Here you can enjoy vegan scenarios and chickpea patties. The hot chocolate is also vegan, the waitress is kindly checked for us. Very friendly staff. Nice to stop in cold days and sit on fire.

Been coming here for over 18yrs. Always pleasant service and good food. August 2020. Visited, for first time since lockdown was introduced, food was great and service, but the atmosphere was ruined by the mask wearing and asking of contact details incase we get sick .

I was so excited to find this little gem. I really struggle when I eat out as I'm gluten and dairy free. This lovely little place catered for these allergies and more. There where several options too. The waitress's where also wonderful and friendly. I can't wait to come back

Nice enough, a few vegan options, but our beautiful friendly waitress had no idea what vegan means, although she tells us that she is a pescatarian. Showed diary free steak pipe! Chick pea patties were fine, but a little dry. Jacket potato and beans was more tasty. Average meal £24.00 Lunch for 2 with non-alcoholic drinks

Lovely little place, right beside St Mary's church. Staff were pleasant, attentive and polite. Service was good and quick. Would recommend Food was nice; a decent, varied menu. And plenty of yummy desserts, including treacle tart! The interior was very nice: comfortable and homely. They even have a rotary display for their puddings. If you're in Rye, check them out.

The restaurant is always bustling with a mix of tourists and locals, all drawn in by the picturesque surroundings. We highly recommend stopping by for a cup of tea and a delicious meal!

when I visited rye, it was rainy and cold. there were not so many tourists. this restaurant was open and seemed to welcome visitors. So we had lunch there. we had typical English meal like Banger-Mash, a jacket kartoffel, suppe. the foods were delicious, but I think we have ordered too much for 2 of us because my family did not recognize the size of the kartoffel. Anyway, we had a good time and it became one of our beautiful memories in Britain, which we still talk about and laugh. thanks for the beautiful homemade meal! I love the picture of lady's room door.
