Florentin - Carta

I used to really like the hummus here, but the last few times we've visited its been bad quality. Watery and without flavour, and not fresh.

We came back to Florentin. The food quality was very good, and we really enjoyed the meal. This is one of the best restaurants in the area, and it was good to be able to enjoy it again.

I have eaten here before but came in for a coffee which was fine if expensive but the service was not brilliant with our drinks going to the wrong table and the waitress not knowing what was what plus service already added to the bill. Ver carta

Had some great bagels there and the humus is really good too. But then, the humus bar is right opposite; so strong competition. Also: great Macchiato and lovely atmosphere (they've got beautiful Fotos from Tel Aviv)! Their Salad is a bit over-seasoned for my taste though.

I love Florentin, one of my favourite restaurants in London! Food is delicious and nice atmosphere and seating areas. However the take away has left a lot to be desired. I’ve ordered take away at least 10 occasions and always been disappointed. Food burnt or not correct order.

We had a small wake in Florentin after the funeral of my father. It was all arranged last minute due to circumstances, but the owner was so helpful and squeezed us in. The food was great, just what my father would have loved so was fitting for the day. I cannot recommend it enough. Ver carta

I have been here a few times in the past and have always enjoyed my experience from the atmosphere to the food. On my last visit, I couldn't resist ordering their hummus and as always I was not in the slightest disappointed! As well as the hummus there are other dishes I've really enjoyed such as their sabich. I definitely recommend this place!

I came to the restaurant with my daughter in the afternoon. We were not given or offered a kids menu, even though I later noticed that other families had one. The grilled salmon was cooked poorly - dry and overdone, with almost burnt sides. It did not come with spinach, as the menu indicated. My daughter's battered fish was bland and lacked seasoning. The presentation of the dishes was unappealing, appearing too rustic and haphazardly thrown together on the plate. In the end, we paid over £40 for two main dishes, one glass of wine, one soft drink, and one coffee, which I felt was very expensive and not worth the money.

The ‘big bagel’ was nice enough as were the chips. Sweet friendly waitress. Please do not order the nachos-they are flavourless and in my opinion the tortilla chips a little stale. Was a little hard work trying to get someone’s attention for the bill. I think they could do with one more member of staff to keep things running more smoothly eg clearing tables, wiping down seats and supplying the bill more promptly. I voiced my opinion at the time re the nachos but was met with a vacant stare and a ‘no ones ever complained about them before ‘. They bizarrely offered to take 10% off the cost of the nachos. A more commercially savvy response would have been ‘so sorry you didn’t like the nachos Il... Ver carta
