Saturday night take away ... was quiet all right for buy one get one free .. 4 pizzas for 24 quid !!! Generous toppings and warm... can't grumble ...

Came her for lamb kebabs this week after not using for nearly two years for poor service, the kebabs were lovely but the kiddies pop corn chicken weren't the best,will be returning for kebabs tho..

Since moving to woodville we have used food stop quite regularly, The food is always spot on and hot only been a couple of times where the food has taken longer to arrive than normal. My partner usually has the same order but today we went to order and there was no hotdog stuffed crust option and for saying that’s one of the reasons we order from here it is quite disappointing. I ordered two pieces of what was supposed to be southern fried chicken, and thankfully I didn't waste money ordering more. It was unrecognizable, appearing to have been fried twice and completely burnt. The greasy burnt coating was unpalatable and could have been anything for all I knew. I reluctantly ate one piece to avoid wasting food, but had to admit defeat and throw the second piece away. This is the first time I have ever complained about the quality of food, but it was truly appalling and the restaurant should be ashamed.

Foodstop was excellent when they first opened... Then things went downhill. It started with orders arriving with things missing, then I was accused of lying about my cheesecake not being in the bag over the phone. Finally, after being sent chicken wings on a quiet week night that were absolutely stone cold and very, very raw (I cannot describe just how uncooked they were) we will not be ordering again. Please, please, please make sure your staff are reading orders properly before sending deliveries and for crying out loud actually cook your wings.

I had a truly terrible experience at this restaurant. It used to be good, but has really declined since our last visit before lockdown. We ordered 2 Lamb Shish at the end of the night, and the ordering process was difficult. When the food finally arrived, it was awful. The meat was tasteless and full of gristle, with no spices at all. It was clear they had used the cheapest meat possible. The only thing we could eat was the salad, so essentially we paid £18 for 2 salads. I wish I could find something positive to say, but unfortunately, I cannot. Save yourself the trouble and try a different takeaway in the area. Ver carta

Ordered food to be delivered to my house which is 3.0 miles away. When ordered food it said bill was £11.00 so naturally got money ready for delivery driver. Food arrived and the driver requested a further £1.00 for delivery as my house is apparently over 3.0 miles away which google maps has told me it is exactly 3.0 miles away so unless the driver diverted through Burton then he only drove. 3.0 miles. Any who, if my house was over 3.0 miles away then this charge should have been added when initially charged and not thrown upon me when being delivered and as a single mother I felt pressured to collect the £1.00 as the driver was very intimidating.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant for pickup. I ordered two southern fried chicken meals, one with cheese wedges which I paid extra for. When I got home, I realized one portion of fries was missing. I called the restaurant and explained that it was my first time ordering from them, as I had just moved to the area on Highfield Street. They apologized and said they would deliver the missing fries to me since I lived just a minute away. However, I am still waiting for the delivery two hours later. Overall, I am disappointed with the lack of care from this restaurant and will not be giving them my business again. I will explore other local takeout options instead.

The standard of takeaways and restaurants generally in Swad and surrounding areas is so poor, that The Food Stop comes out as one of the better options even with an average rating! My problem with it, as ever, is the shish kebabs. Where I come from, a shish kebab is large chunks of marinated meat, cooked on a skewer, over a charcoal grill. It is served in a pitta bread (I don't know where all this tikka kebab and naan bread nonsense came from! with lettuce, white cabbage, red cabbage, onion, cucumber and tomato. There is not ONE SINGLE SO-CALLED KEBAB HOUSE in Swad, which makes them like this. All I can say is, at least Food Stop does make an effort (unlike any of the others . You can choose... Ver carta
