Food Village - Carta

I will have to admit even though the rest of the experience was not so pleasant, the food was actually amazing.

Went Sunday morning, man it was busy. The let us set at the bar and eat breakfast. It was a lot of fun. The food is good.

Dirty tables all over. Only maybe five customers in the whole place. Food was old nothing fresh. Even the meal that was ordered to cook was old meat. Never go back. Ver carta

It was across from La Quinta hotel where I stayed at. The waiter gave me a menu to look at. The food there was really good. I didn't do the buffet meal but next time I'm in Nashville I will order the buffet meal.

The food was ok… some items weren’t as fresh for a buffet. The waitress came to the table once and we had to flag her for napkins and again for the check. Staff weren’t very friendly with speaking or that southern charm we look for when traveling.

Host was above and beyond helpful. We wanted the breakfast bar but we're running late getting there . They were taking it down as we were walking in. We told the host what we were there for and he went and made sure that the breakfast stuff was left out for us. He also had stuff brought back out. Ver carta

A family waiting for a table ahead of us left after waiting 15 minutes for a table with no one else in line. That should have been my cue. Plenty of empty tables too. After we got seated, my husband chose the breakfast buffet so he ate right away. Twice! My simple order off the menu took 20 minutes. I gotta admit: the food was good, tasty. However, the service was the issue. I never got the straw I asked for. No jelly for my toast. My hubby never got a coffee refill. This is an airport location so time was a factor. That’s why service should be a major focus here. The manager recognized their failure comped my $8.99 meal. But I would glad pay if the service was worthy.

Well let's see came in for lunch around 12:30 was seated in a timely manner went to the buffet bar to get lunch still serving breakfast the pan for chicken only had two pieces in it some of the items looked as though they had been there not stirred film on top had to ask the manager for chicken they had a pan sitting back where they cook it just sitting there she had to get it and bring it out by the way the manager was super nice when me and my friend got back to the table after our first plate our silverware and drinks were missing the table cleaner must have thought we left and clean the table wow! My husband and I were traveling through Nashville and, having eaten and enjoyed Shoney's when we had them in Texas, I had hoped to introduce him to Shoney's. We read reviews first, and I prefaced my request to go there by stating we could give it a chance. (Some of the reviews are not good. We never had a chance to try the food. Upon walking in, I noticed the rug and floor in the entryway were sticky. There was no employee at the front..okay but the place was not busy. We were there at 6 pm. There was no sign directing us to either wait to be seated or to seat ourselves, so we chose to wait. We spotted two wait staff and waited for an acknowledgment of any kind...eye contact, a nod, a waive.... Ver carta
