"Really handy not far from scotch corner, large car park. The food was really nice it looked immaculate (although the table was clean but sticky). My main issue is the really small menu although there were specials and hopefully these are changed regularly as nice as our meals were I would hesitate to go back as that was the only main I would like. The wine and soda was served separately (see photo) nice touch. I had fishcake with samphire, hollandaise and poached egg it was really nice and the fries were really crispy and not greasy. My wife had small fish and chips which wasn't small at all, she said it was delicious. The salt I think was sea salt flakes which was really nice but our salt pot ran out. Completely randomly from the car park there is a field and I have never seen as many wild rabbits in my life, there were at least 30 running around."

Nice place for lunch. Most of us has a burger and we all agreed they were very, very good. Burger was well seasoned, cooked well with good cheese etc. Well worth a visit.

The dining experience was excellent, the staff were friendly, and the location was fantastic. We decided to stop by on a whim after a long day, and we ended up enjoying a wonderful meal. I highly recommend this place!

We randomly stopped here as we were starving! It’s a great place for food, restrooms and a quick dog exercise break! The cheese burger was one of the best I’ve had for a while (proper local beef) and the ham and cheese was very cheesy! Their is a small enclosed paddock where you can through the ball and get the dog to run around, which is all away from the traffic. Ver carta

on a Sunday on the way home and blown away with the sunday roast! we got half the chicken roast and it was absolutely perfect, crispy skin, delicate meat and the sweet were also amazing. it was all perfect and it is so favorable for the quality they get, most of the roast flours are about £15 if I didn't live 3 hours away I would be here every weekend. best brat I had in a restaurant!

This restaurant used to be a fish and chip place, but during my recent visit—our first time there—I noticed a lot has changed. The menu now offers a wider variety of options, but I stuck with the fish and chips, which were wonderful! The decor is nice, and the restrooms are impeccably clean. Exiting the parking lot can be a bit tricky, but if you wait patiently, you'll find a suitable gap to leave.

We stopped here for dinner and were impressed by the pub's beautiful decor. The food was also very tasty. We ordered the house special, "grilled seabass," and "chicken scavengers," both of which were cooked to perfection and delicious. The halat was good as well. I rated it four stars for a minor issue: the staff tended to drop the plates onto the table instead of placing them gently, causing some of our food to spill out of the dishes. Ver carta

"Went today for Sunday lunch with friends (party of having made the booking last time we were there a few weeks ago (when the service was mediocre but not too bad). It was a booking and whilst there were some tables were occupied...already it was far from busy. Initially, drinks arrived quickly and order taken promptly. Even the starters arrived quickly and were excellent. And then things god worse. All of our party ordered the Sunday roast easy peasy for any eatery but after an hour and a quarter I had to enquire where the main course was. It arrived about minutes later and apart from the fact that pork had been applied VERY sparingly to one plate (two small slices concealed under a Yorkshire Pudding), which was quickly addressed, all was good. Everything well cooked and really tasty. Then it got worse again. The plates were eventually cleared and a dessert menu procured. And we waited, and waited, and waited. To be fair, everyone else was waiting as well and the place had got quite busy. But we waited, and waited some more, and then, after two hours and forty five minutes, we got bored with waiting and asked for the bill, stressing that we would have ordered desserts but it was too late by this time. I went to pay the bill and asked to speak to the Manager. It transpired that the young lad who had been serving was (allegedly) in charge, although I do find it hard to believe that someone we thought was a weekend waiter' would be the most senior on the premises. He trotted out that well used phrase sorry, short staffed' which I am afraid doesn't really wash. Clearly, they have been delighted to secure lots of nice profitable bookings whilst not securing the staff to service them. To be fair, the waiting staff were coping quite well but if the restaurant doesn't have the staff to service the customers, don't take as many bookings. Simple. Anyway, that was all he said, no other excuse or appeasement so, I am afraid that whilst what we had was good, and was great value, we will not be darkening the doors of the Brownlow in future. There are plenty of other places equally good who don't keep me waiting until tea time for lunch"
