On a business trip and it was my first meal in Germany after getting of an AM plane and working all day. I was hungry and good thing, the portions are huge but the food and beer is excellent. I will definitely be going back before I leave Germany.

my wife and I visited the family and this is a restaurant they often visit. this was our eating of our visit and we were not disappointed. very traditional German restaurant. the food and the drinks were all served promptly and were both very delicious. .

the frankfurter house is a good place for local cuisine to reasonable trips. the service is great, our waiter was very friendly, the atmosphere is nice and relaxed and the eating is very tasty and the dishes are huge, so they go hungry or prepare for it. .

We went for dinner here on our first night in Frankfurt-absolutely stunning. Beautiful restaurant! The portions are massive but true german style food. It's run by locals so English is a slight challenge but we managed. Definitely worth a visit if you are looking for a casual, cozy restaurant away from tourists
