I have booked two tables for Mother's Day, and when we went to the restaurant, we said they had not received our booking. we were devastated and very disappointed

fantastic, friendly staff. our waiter, jack was fun, efficient and very helpful. fries with cheese and speck were delicious. Unfortunately, the hühnerburger is not so delicious. the bungalow was a bit dry and the hunch was well cooked, but blande. still a pleasant enough meal just not quite top.

We booked a table online for two. On arrival we were greeted in a friendly manner and shown straight to our table. The waitering staff and deputy manager Michael Thompson, were friendly and very accommodating to our dietry requests. Visited for lunch yesterday although a very busy Bank Holiday the place and staff were all well organised, friendly and professional from Front of House to waiters/waitresses. The food was hot, delicious and well presented it was enjoyed by myself and my partner. Although the menu doesn't have as much choice as it did and think the food and drinks are too expensive for the things they offer.

Not the same place I've loved for years and years. Menu has changed which is fine you roll with it but you get used to things and I don't feel like there is as much choice anymore. Used to like getting a pitcher cocktail too and they have gone and I can't even get a Godfather in a glass! Don't do my favourite burger so had to try recreate it but the burgers are still as juicy and the chips are delicious!!

Went in for an early dinner at 11.30am, but were told they don't take orders for dinner until 12pm. We just sat at a table, had drinks and chatted for a bit so it wasn't a problem. I had macaroni cheese with bacon and my nephews ordered off the kids menu. Good selection on the kids menu, usually it's about four things, but there's had a much larger choice which was good. My Mum had the caeser salad. Food was very tasty and came in good time. The lady who served us was chatty, friendly and very smiley. Good experience all round. Ver carta
