"Had the BEST experience at this restaurant, went with my sister, ordered one of the hot dogs, my sister ordered the ribs. We were sat down by a young girl who asked for our drink order, we ordered and waiting a little for them, then our server came over, his name was kieran, we told him we were still waiting on our drinks he came over straight away. Had a lovely chat with him, he asked for our order, the food came quick, he asked if we needed a tip up on our drinks, checked our meal was okay and it was lovely. He was SO attentive, smiley and couldn’t be more helpful and friendly. Could not recommend this service more due to this young man. He had us laughing the whole time, couldn’t of done more, he was like this with every table he served :"

this restaurant in a set would be impossible to evaluate. it has so many great qualities especially taste. a wide selection of dresses with numerous menus from juniors to cocktails. the personal is extremely dressed for the probably the customers. I would recommend it very much. the only problem I had is in some chains the waiting time for the food that is just under fast.

here to lunch before they make a stadium tour through old hitford. we ordered freakshakes, spaghetti with meatballs that came with a side of fritten, a cheeseburger and a calzone. the calzone has stolen the show. the cheeseburger was also very well done. I am a huge spaghetti person and I must admit that I was a little disappointed that it was a tad bland. I also liked the fries not too much, but the rest of the food was really good and the service was excellent!

came back here about two months when I was in some places, but never ended up writing an evaluation so goes here. three of us ordered freakshakes, spaghetti bolognese, philly cheeseburger and a calzone (new yorker.) I love spaghetti and I was quite happy with the spaghetti bolognese. it was a tiny bland, but it wasn't bad! the side of the fritten was more on the side of the country. cheeseburger was really good. the best were the calzone and the freakshakes. great service!

PERFECT EVENING FOR THE BIRTHDAY GIRL. Our server was Georgia. She was an absolute delight with service, conversation and professionalism throughout. Our food and drinks were served with no waiting time, and all 3 meals were cooked and plated perfect. The service we received made our visit even more enjoyable, as Georgia went out of her way to make a fuss of the birthday girl all evening, despite of how busy she was. Fantastic quality of food, and the service topped it off. Thank you.

Best Burger in City .... We wanted a distanced 3pm Christmas meet up and Frankie Benny’s ticked all the boxes. It did not disappoint with three great meals Hot Dog; Steak and my personal fave was Brie and Cranberry Burger. Probably the best burger I have had in the city, the staff looked after us from 3-7pm with food and drinks with smiles and banter. My only negative was that there were ‘No Pancakes’ which would have made a nice little starter or dessert. Come on get those Pancakes on all day gang Frankie and Benny's. Thank you for a great day.

"Alborz is a wonderful hidden gem in Levenshulme that serves a variety of Persian and Middle-Eastern food, located on Stockport Rd you could be forgiven for thinking that Alborz is as unassuming as it's humble exterior suggests. However, what lies behind those modest doors is truly fantastic restaurant both in terms of food and service. The interior is understated and tasteful, furnished with Persian vases and ornate tea sets, the tables are close together to make the most of the limited space available but this lends a refreshing communal atmosphere to your meal. The staff were friendly and attentive and more than happy to talk you through the menu and explain the various dishes. We ordered the Mezze Platter to start, this consists of four different starters, and is ideal if you're not overly familiar with Persian cuisine, the homemade hummus was a particular highlight being both fresh and tasty. We then ordered the Alborz special grill for two, which looks as wonderful as it tastes, succulent skewers of koobideh and chicken accompanied by grilled vegetables, saffron rice and a freshly baked taltoon bread which was frankly quite ridiculous in its magnificence and is so large it came supplied with its own stand. This was a true delight to eat and I can highly recommend it. After all of that, we were overloaded with food and couldn't possibly consider having dessert and so, asked for the bill, which led to true surprise of the evening, all of this wonderfully authentic and fresh food came to a grand total of £42. This reflects tremendous value in a time where a meal for two can often prove quite expensive. Overall I would say that Alborz is definitely worth visiting if you're in the area and if you're not well then it's worth making the trip for. If you're a fan of Persian food or perhaps want to try something new then you would genuinely struggle to find such a quality dining experience at this price point."

"I've been to a couple of different Dishoom branches a few times and have never been disappointed by the breakfast options. The sausage naan roll is excellent. A couple of really tasty vegan sausages with some melted vegan cheese all wrapped up in a lovely soft naan and served with some sort of sweet chilli dipping sauce. My go to now is usually the vegan Bombay. It's a good hearty breakfast plate with... a couple of the same well seasoned vegan sausages. Some vegan tofu akuri a nicely spiced tofu scramble. Some very well cooked mushroom slices (that are maybe a wee bit under seasoned). The baked beans are really nicely spiced, elevating them far beyond the standard sweet sauce fare that's the usual. A few slices of well flavoured black pudding (that could be fried to being a bit crispier). A cooked tomato which is a bit dull, I've never been keen on tomatoes on my breakfast plate and this once has not changed my mind. It could do with some more charring and maybe some spicing. To help you mop everything up, the whole thing is served with a couple of soft bread buns that have been nicely toasted. I usually top the whole thing off with some chocolate chai with oat milk you get free refills for your chai. Unfortunately, it isn't wheelchair accessible. There are stairs up into the restaurant and various small flights of stairs to get to different parts of the restaurant. Updated from previous review on 2024 03 25"
