We have been visiting this restaurant for many years on our annual trip to Trieste. It may not be suitable for chic society, but the owners are very friendly and the boss is an excellent cook of the few dishes on offer. Italy as it once was.

Bar Franza, we ate excellent fish and a delicious walnut d'être. The owners are fantastic and make you feel at ease straight away. To finish, an excellent absinthe bitter, truly bitter finally.
