popped in for a bite to eat with my partner, staff are lovely and the food was very good, would definitely go back again!

we are in friars wynd this week, and it was one of the best meals I can remember. the food was excellent and cooked to perfection, the environment beautiful and the staff we great. friendly welcome. we live in dying eating something out, and this is the best restaurant in our city!

I have booked a few nights in the friars wynd hotel, dieling for me, kenzi, mum dad to celebrate dad's 77th birthday. I can only say it is a fabulous, all staff sooo friendly, so centrally positioned in the city it was simply amazing. would recommend it to be definately back! many thanks for making fathers bday so special xx

we had a nice chilled time had a slight question with our room, but the personal treated it was wonderful nothing to disturb much fraser was excellent as the bar staff would recommend definitiw, eating was great the bets are so convenient best night sleep I had in one because must add that the problem with my room was outwith. hotel and personal control

Stay overnight there last night, and have to say I would give it 10/10. The room was lovely, shower amazing. Breakfast was lovely today as well. Would have stayed in the bar more last night if they had lager either on tap or bottles, tried a bottle of beer but just not for me. Staff very friendly and very courteous. Would definately recommend. And location to the town centre and other restaurants as perfect, within walking distance.

we ate here in hogmanay. the food was fantastic! well presented, delicious and cooked just perfect. if we could give more than a 5-star rating, we would! my rabbit wellington was dying and hunters huhn was just as good. other half had baptism starters and venison main excellent! the cheese board for 1 would have made 2/3 people easy and was well presented and delicious. the owner was very helpful and the staff was amazing. we will definitely return.
