"My future day 2022 It was an absolute hit! The boss himself Hans showed me the various tasks of a cook and a service employee over the course of a whole day. At the beginning, Hans explained to us the importance of shopping totally exciting! Afterwards there was a lot to do in the kitchen 60 lunches had to be prepared. You also have to be careful with technical devices and sharp knives even if you're in a hurry. And as soon as the salad is nicely draped on the plate, the dishes soon have to be carefully cleared away from the guests. In the afternoon, the cook doesn't lie lazily in bed, but is already preparing for dinner cutting herbs, baking cakes or creating something else delicious. In the evening I was allowed to enjoy a delicious dinner with my parents. Thank you Hans for the great insight into this creative and varied profession. Valentina D'Acquisto"

Eines meiner Lieblingslandbeizen. Immer wieder fahren wir extra in den Eidberg. Sehr liebevoll geführets Restaurant. Das Essen ist spitzenmässig und die Preise moderat.

Für unseren Hochzeitstag habe ich im Frohsinn reserviert. Hansi überraschte uns mit einem Tomahakstake was mir gut gefallen hat. Lecker zubereitet haben wir es genossen. Lohnt sich hier zu essen. Res.nicht vergessen. Wird gut besucht.

Spontaner Besuch im Frohsinn über den Mittag. Mein Tagesmenü (kleines Cordonbleu, Pommes, Gemüse) und der Nüsslisalat meiner Frau war tip top.Herrliches Rhabarber-Törtchen zum Dessert. Haben gleich noch 4 Stück "über die Gasse" mitgenommen.

After the change of tenant we were happy again for the first time today (01/29/23) and... we were thrilled. Great value for money, an ambience and a menu that, in our opinion, deserves a AAA+ rating. Last but not least, dogs are welcome, which is central to us. BRAVO and keep it up! Ver carta

An diesem wundervollen Abend konnten wir im gemütlichen Garten bei Sonnenuntergang speisen. Vom sehr freundlichen Personal wurden wir zügig bedient. Die übersichtliche Karte bietet saisonale und regionale Gerichte. Der knackige Blattsalat, der Lammhackbraten mit Safrannudeln, die Zanderknusperli und der Romanoff mit Eidberger Erdbeeren liessen keine Wünsche offen.Mit dem Heimspaziergang nach Oberseen zum Bus in einer fantastischen Abendstimmung war der Besuch im Frohsinn ein toller Mini-Urlaub in Winti. Einfach wunderbar. Wir kommen wieder.

Nach einer Besprechung - und vor einer weiteren - traf ich am ersten warmen Mittag 2015 im Gasthaus Frohsinn ein. Die Gaststube wirkt sehr traditionell, fast historisch, der Garten mit einigen Tischen und Sonnenschirmen. Eine nicht zu üppige Karte zeigte auf, dass wir uns auf frisch zubereitete Gerichte freuen konnten.Die Wirtin erklärte kurz die Karte, die heutige Spezialität und die Getränke. Salat für den Kollegen, Suppe für mich kamen sehr schnell. Die Hauptgänge dauerten auf nicht lange - aber so lange, wie ein frische Zubereitung eben Zeit braucht. Lecker gekocht, toll präsentiert, stilvoll und passend zu Lokal aufgetragen. Für eine Nachspeise reichte die Zeit nicht mehr.Ein lecker Ess...

"Apart from the tiny portions, the food was served with a lot of dedication. Each course has space on a coffee plate. The alarm bells started ringing for me right from the start when the sentence came, in our case we leave the restaurant feeling full but not overcrowded..... Oh dear, I thought. To be honest, when I go out to eat, I don't want to go to the fridge afterwards. However, you can always order a supplement, which saved me from starvation. It's just not my style to curtsy as a supplicant for a little more food. Don't think everyone does this because they're ashamed. In terms of taste, I found all the dishes very tasty, although not amazing. Somehow nouvelle cuisine reinterpreted. Meat and vegetables cooked perfectly, really very fine. In my opinion, the descriptions of the preparation and origin of the dishes at the table are too much and seem a bit artificial. In terms of price, that's a challenge. A bottle of affordable white wine costs around 60 to 100 francs, well. Together with the meal around 300 francs I think it's too much. But just. It was no different in Switzerland in the 80s. We simply pay too much in Switzerland. Still, I think there are few restaurants that celebrate food with such dedication. If the portions were a little larger, I would try it again. But only when I have some money in reserve again. The whole thing took too long and got on my nerves. I want to eat and not talk to the person I'm talking to for hours. We spent almost 3 hours in the restaurant. Deduction for price and quantity otherwise recommended. The concept seems to be working. Is always well booked.
