On a balmy evening it is the perfect spot for an unhurried meal. Great location, friendly staff who speak English, and an accordionist-violin duo (with singing) performing in front of the eating area.

Right by the river with many tables outside. We enjoyed beer in the evening sunshine in a really peaceful and picturesque location. Staff were fun and helpful. Good for watching the world go by and relaxing.

Lübeck is a beautiful city and Funambules is a relaxed place to have a beautiful beer or another drink on the terrace. Also for food, but be on time as the pandemic has its toll on the menu.. Anyway, the staff is really coming, very nice!
