What an exquisite change to Geneva's dying food scene. Funky BBQ is exactly that, FUNKY, DIFFERENT, and REFRESHING. The owners boost about how everything is homemade... you can definitely taste the freshness! Can't wait to try it again! Try mixing the Memphis, South Carolina, and Kansas together on your sandwich! Heaven!

I just used Funky BBQ for a party and it was great. I prefer my own coleslaw, potato salad and baked beans but their pulled pork, beef brisket, sauce and buns buns were perfect for our party. I wish we could have hired their truck too but summer is too busy with the festivals. The people at Funky BBQ are extremely friendly and easy to work with.

I happened to walk across this food truck and am I ever happy I did! I have never tasted pulled pork or Mac and cheese this insanely good. It might sound exaggerated, but you can taste the time and passion that has been put into this food. Exceptional among the many mediocre trucks out there, this is the real deal. Close your eyes and you're in mouth-heaven! Highly recommended

Funky BBQ never disappoints! Such delicious food and tender meat! My boyfriend and I enjoy eating the pulled pork sandwiches, beef briskets, ribs, and mac and cheese, and coleslaw. We have eaten everything on the menu actually and find it difficult to decide what sauce to get as they are all soo good! We highly recommend this food truck for anyone who wants a REAL pulled pork sandwich!

This is just a solution to expensive Geneva! Food TRUCK! Genius!I have tried both the beef and pork sandwiches but definitely (yes most definitely) the RIBS are the best! They are always so tender and their BBQ sauce is just amazing.This is the one thing that you never get tired of and the price is so reasonable that you could get your stomach full of the yummy ribs. So glad that they also park in Nations now!

I'm getting my Friday lunch at FunkyBBQ, no discussion (and sometimes I get dinner, too)... It's always a tough choice, between the pulled pork or chicken bbq sandwich, or should I get the brisket today...??? and then to decide between their various home-made bbq sauces (please, pretty please, bring back the Purple Haze)... if I'm really hungry, I'll also get me a piece of Ernie's fabulous corn bread and some of Jess' to-die-for mac and cheese. One thing is certain, the brownie is on the list every time, cannot go away without this delish' slice of sweet heaven !!

Perfectly prepared sandwiches and ribs, properly slow smoked in a wood smoker installed in the food truck! The sides are great (we tried each other's dishes when we ate there) and the house made sauces are truly excellent. Good craft beer available, and the prices are very reasonable for the quality of the food.I haven't tried the brisket yet, though it got great reviews from my work colleague who tried the brisket sandwich. I'll definitely try it next time, it looked very nice.The staff are very friendly and helpful and the portions are just right. I promised these guys I'd write a review for them back in September, guess it's better late than never! :)I flew in on business from the Middle East three times in September, and two of those visits I had the chance to grab a meal from this awesome food truck!!
