"Disappointing take away from Galos Hertford tonight. Tiny chicken portion-supposed to be a quarter (it was barely a leg),cold fries, dried cob and no slaw with meal. Not worth the money. I called to discuss and come to an agreement if a refund and the manger wouldn't speak to me-said they’d call back tomorrow as they were in an ‘important meeting’. They then said they’d offer to send out the fries and slaw...quite frankly not acceptable after you’ve eaten dinner and are complaining about quality. Managers should trust their staff to deal with these situations if they can’t. It was clear the manager wasn’t in a meeting at 1925pm this was simply a refusal of call. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone-which is a shame as I always promote supporting local business and actually the sauce of the food wasn’t so bad. I’m hoping the manager finds the confidence to call me back this evening and give us our money back."

I was really pleasantly surprised that the food was so delicious. It doesn’t feel like take away, it feels like gourmet home cooked food which is what you want. Will make this a regular haunt.

I’d bought chicken here many times and put up with the staff’s rudeness and lack of any attempt to engage with the customer. But I will never go again. Chicken was slimy, undercooked, absolutely disgusting. Feel sick now when I pass the place. Ver carta

Have just had a lovely take away, deliver to the door, in Covid lockdown. Prompt and friendly service and great food for a family meal. Lovely half chicken, ribs and fries. The Tiger chicken box my son had made me wish I had ordered that for myself. Great value too

Just collected their new Sunday Munch Box for £19.95 and it was delicious. Hot, tasty and plenty of it. As extras we ordered the homemade cauliflower cheese and bacon for the cabbage. So nice to get good homemade food to takeaway we couldn’t fault it. Will definitely order again

Ordered via just app on a Saturday night. Food arrived early about 30 mins which is unexpected for a Saturday. Our meals were fresh and hot. It was good full of flavour. The macaroni and cheese portion is a bit small for the price came in a small container. I would definitely order from here again. Food is excellent. Ver carta

Often told it's going to be over an hour anyway, but even with this timeframe it is STILL late. I ordered at 18:50, it is now 20:30 and my order has still not arrived. We have called twice and the woman at front of house was quite blunt. She told us it had left the shop 10 minutes ago. On the second call 10 minutes later she told us it had left 5 minutes ago. We were not kept up to date with any delays or changes either. Really disappointed.

Absolutely disgusting. Very disappointed. We ordered ribs, pulled pork, corn on the cob, slaw and fries. The first picture is of the bag it came in. The food had been tipped over and leaked into the bag over everything else. The ribs were ok, barely warm and very small portion. The fries were very cold, overcooked and again very small portion. The pulled pork was dry, tasteless and again, a very small portion. The corn was FREEZING cold. The only thing that was ok was the slaw. We rang the restaurant and spoke to a female member of staff. She stated that it couldnt be as we described above because she packed our order herself. She then passed us to the manager who then repeated that it could...
