"nestled on one of the bustling places of nîmes (near the fountain with crocodiles), is this wonderful little restaurant and cellar. just to drink a drink or to eat, it's an incredible and very friendly place held by two charming ladies. the atmosphere is great, the fresh and largely homemade food and with a large selection of wines, all at very reasonable prices. I found it on the tripadvisor site in search of places where to eat during my work visit and I have returned with pleasure on several occasions. I will certainly come back, strongly recommended. I love this wine bar - I came here with a friend for a drink in the evening and it was perfect. great choice of wines that are really not too expensive and a charming atmosphere - very relaxed and good background music. ideal for a drink in peace between friends and family!

I went there twice, once for lunch with a tasting menu, then one day later for wine in the evening after a meal elsewhere. excellent choice of wines, all local. owners will recommend visits to good local vineyards. relaxed atmosphere both inside and outside the wine bar. a few nice hours.

already recommended on trip advisor, they have a large selection of wines, a good location on the best place in the city, excellent service and trays of charcuterie and cheese for those who want more than a glass. I loved wooden tables and parasols on the outside. a must-see place for visitors of the Ver carta

the wines were correct, but the food really left to be desired. 3 of us had tuna salad that had almost no tuna on the hard pasta salad. the waiter went to ask if there would be enough tuna for the plates and obviously there was only one for a portion they spread on the 3. the staff shut down and left while we were still sitting at our outside table so we weren't even able to use the toilets before going on.

We had a very good time in this bar last night!! We decided to stay, it seemed very comfortable and the staff welcomed us with a big smile. The servers are attentive and kind. We love that, which is not common when we eat in france. they had a gentleman singing classical French songs with his guitar, which also added charm to the bar. We had a bottle of organic pink wine that was absolutely delicious and they served it with an Italian dry ham that we loved too!! prices are very affordable and the atmosphere is great. perfect place for apero:)

"Enoteca has only been going 6 months or so which may explain the lack of reviews on TripAdvisor but don't let that put you off dining here. We'd been staying close by for the week and hadn't realised at first that this restaurant is also linked to a great little deli about 10 doors down on the same rue. So you have two great places to discover! We stopped in there for a glass of wine first in the last of the days sun before heading to the restaurant for dinner. The owner is a lovely, attentive guy who is clearly very passionate about his Italian produce; food and wine! Over dinner we were well looked after and shared delicious burrata as starter, followed by two authentic Italian pasta dishes for main course. The beef in mine was rich and tender, obviously having been cooked for hours. Dessert were small coffees with a delicious citrus mouse on the side and plenty of biscotti biscuits to dip. Drinks wise we'd enjoyed a glass of white at the deli but moved onto passionfruit spritz for aperitifs followed by a delicious Nero d'Avola to match our mains. This red was fantastically smooth and fruity, with no hint of tannins in the after taste. I was surprised that the place wasn't packed out on a Friday night but there is a festival in town for a couple of days so that could be keeping people busy, but this place will surely gain in popularity and in the rankings in Nimes very soon. Recommend this Italian restaurant which suits this French city drenched in Roman history!"
